Not good for stopping night as this spot is actually entrance to a bridle path and local walkers route. There is now a sign entrance to woods saying no campervans or fires in woods so was not received well by locals walking dogs trying to get past van.
Nice enough little spot, I did worry a bit at first as there are private residences along the lane, but nobody bothered me. A few vehicles went past and some walkers. Nice walking up the hill where it's more deciduous. It is clearly a forestry entrance so watch out for working vehicles etc. No reception of any kind, if you care about that.
Great find! Probably the most remote camping spot we’ve stayed at and would highly recommended it if you’re looking to do wild camping.
