Large lay-by on a very quiet road with lovely views, people do stop here to walk dogs etc so make sure you park in a way that’s using minimal space and leaving room for others. Great signal on Three / Smarty

Beautiful spot, incredible views. Stayed a few days ago and did a very nice short walk up to the Sir William Hill trig point for a Geocache. Liked it so much we have returned tonight and this time walked 12 mins down the hill to the Barrel inn which has a lovely beer garden!!

Stayed last night and although a few cars and vans coming and going by 9.00 I had the spot to myself. Very quiet spot, some local dog walkers and joggers the next morning all very pleasant.

quiet, flat, close to a pub and walks, great views

Lovely spot. Very quiet, with great views. Not quite flat, bit not far off. Pub around 15 minutes away. No noise at all at night.

    Beautiful place, lovely quiet night.

Stayed here last night with one other van ( who’d parked right in the middle?) anyway I squeezed myself in. Relatively flat, pretty windy though! Mostly quiet, felt safe. Beautiful views just up the track

Had a great night's sleep here followed by a beautiful walk in the morning. There are lots of options and a decent phone signal too. The parking is on a slight incline and next to the road. However its just as you approach a really tight bend, so cars are travelling very slowly. More cars parked there at 11am when we returned but no hassle, other than a little bit of shameful litter.

Nice views, more level than it seems and quite a quiet road during the night. Very nice sunset!

A very quiet spot with lovely views. I was the only person parked overnight.

Lovely, beautiful spot. On top of a hill with good views

Lovely park up We turned up late and found this area to be very busy. Four vans and 2 cars parked quite close together so we did move on.

Parked on the grassy verge just up the track on the right. Scraped the bottom of my car on the ground as it's a bit rocky and bumpy but still this is a slightly more secluded park up than the layby just off the road. Quiet all night, few cars in the evening. I was alone at this end but still felt safe. Great panoramic views from the nearby trig point and some nice walks on Eyam moor.

A nice view, and quite quiet. There's a couple of walks / cycle rides; one via the barrel pub which was recommended for its food. I only had one curious passerby - children inspecting content through the windows, and commenting on the alarm. This spot is popular with village tourists as well so it can get busy. The signal is strong here too, which may leave a hum / cause annoyance.

Nice spot ,very levelled, space for 2-3 vans. Very close to the road

Lovely spot, we'd aimed for the spot at the other end of the gravel track but being bank hol weekend that was taken. A short walk downhill to the pub, a couple of other vans arrived after us and parked up, one in the layby near us and one parking 30m up the gravel track on the grass on the right hand side. Another couple of vans appeared to check out the spot but moved on instead of cramming in.

Very nice place. We spent the night here, no issues, very quite.

We found our way here after dark, the roads were easy enough to navigate in our long wheel based van. As other people have said there is space for 3-4 vans, potentially limited by it being a little muddy in parts and a few pot holes. The road is quiet at night, although right on the bend so when a car does go past they slow right down. We had a good night's sleep and moved on in the morning.

Lovely little spot, very quiet road. Pub a short walk down the road which would be great if we were not in the middle of lockdown. Nice place to do a few walks from

Beautiful little spot, and only a 10 minute walk from the pub! We stayed on Friday night. Space for a few more campers but we were by ourselves but still felt safe. Lots of walkers coming and going throughout the day. There were lovely cows in the next field!

Good spot - but amateur radio enthusiast turned up with a loud generator from 7:30 to 10:30! Stayed a Tuesday night.

  • 5/5

Space for 4 vans. Nice quiet road. High up so windy. But apart from that quiet. Easy access. No bother.

Excellent emplacement et très belles vues

Stunning views! And great overnight spot. Short walk to local pub.

Got here around 11:30pm, three other vans already here but still enough room for My LWB great little spot.

  • 5/5

Nice and quiet. Hardly any traffic. Would definitely come back ?.

  • 5/5

Amazing views. We were there during the tail end of Storm Dennis so it was a little blustery but not scarily so. It is very close to the edge of the road but it is a very quiet road with practically no passing traffic. And the local pub really is just 12 mins down the road in foot. A very friendly owner, good beers and wines and a fine selection of gins. And they do food.

Super quiet, flat, great views. Room for about 4 vehicles. The Barrel Inn is a 12 min walk and does an excellent pint. We’d come back here for sure.
