Having driven up a single track road, the owner was out of his house to shout at us before we knocked on the door. No motorhomes! he was pretty angry about us having the audacity to arrive there.... he did say he allowed small Camper vans but NO MOTORHOMES!

One of my favourite campsites! Out of the way, with not much signage to show where it is… We are here on a Sunday evening in August, and there’s only a few other campers here. Plenty of grassy pitches, with toilet and shower facilities which are very clean. Also dog friendly but must be kept on a leash. Pub is only a short walk away through the fields.

Stayed here at the weekend £15 for camper with 2 adults and 2 dogs. Plenty of space to park. We stayed in the bottom field close by toilets and the river. Plenty of toilets dotted around but only 1 shower block up at the farm

Fantastic spot for walks up the Yorkshire Three Peaks. 15 minute wander into Horton for the pub. Will be back - imagine it could be busy at weekends

Stayed for 3 nights in our T2. Toilets and showers very clean. Lovely informal setting with no marked pitches. Easy to find flat ground. £15 per night for 2 and a van. Very quiet Wednesday and Thursday night. Busy on Friday. Probably best to book at weekends. Direct route to pen-y-gent and 3 peaks via footbridge over the river from the campsite.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon down a mile long single track with about 2 passing places, there were some tents but lots of room left. The owner told us that they were fully booked and only accepting VW type vans. So we had to leave. May be ok if you book and have a small camper

Updated and added some more photos. Very peaceful spot which the owners are upgrading to include more hardstanding areas. Larger campervans and small-medium sized motorhomes need to visit during dry spells.
