Ness Point, which is the most eastern point of the UK. Large space to par, as well as side roads next to parking area. No parking signs at all, no restriction signs. Back end of industrial site, not pretty from rear but sea view is great. Large wind turbine nearby. Good for photos. Otherwise quiet, dog walkers and some kids in cars at weekends I expect. Ok for night stop over. Town is 10 mins walking but I would not leave vehicle unattended due to remote location.

Nice spot right by the sea. Plenty of spaces for few vans. We spend one night with 2 vans. Quiet night. Well recommended

  • 4/5

Great spot for an overnight stay. There are a few wagons and other campers so pretty safe. The sea view is great and there's a great little diner only a short walk down the sea wall- The Lighthouse Diner. Nice quiet spot tucked behind the Birdseye Factory. We didn't have and trouble all night and slept like a baby!

  • 5/5

Great stop over - very basic, industrial estate car park but ideal for an over night. We arrived around 6.30pm en route north and needed to stop. Really quiet all night and still quiet at 9.30am! Don't be put off by driving through the industrial estate!

  • 3/5

Flat spots were taken up by hgvs and the car park under the height barrier was covered in litter. Decided not to stay.

  • 5/5

lovely quiet place to stop for a night no problems friendly walkers and ideal photo op for the most east point of UK

  • 5/5

Lovely spot, nice views. A few walkers but all friendly. Arrived late and parked near the entrance of the sea wall. A few lorries waiting to offload but no issues at all.

  • 5/5

lovely place , had a good night's sleep,

  • 3/5

Certainly not the prettiest of places but lots of places to park. I had a huge artic parked behind me that couldn’t deliver his cargo of peas to Birds Eye until 1am and his refrigeration would start up regularly during the night. I said I have earplugs but thanked him for letting me know. Heard nothing. There’s a Birds Eye outlet shop just up the road if you fancy a bit of Captain Birds Eye!!

  • 4/5

Went there yesterday loads of room if you go down the end there's another car park but your restricted to 2.4m height so if your higher than that you need to stay up opening still loads of room not to noisey alot of seat noise and the odd boy racer but they dont stay long 30 mins went about 11pm good spot bit out the way not near anything but not bad place to stop if you need to

  • 3/5

Not the prettiest of places to park up but we stayed for 1 night in our 22 ft motorhome so plenty of room. No problems with noise or egg throwing. would use again but only if needed rather than a place to rush to.

  • 2/5

This place certainly has a lot of space but definitely felt a bit sketchy! Lots of night time drivers. Not a great view - sea was brown & sadly no sunrise as it was overcast! Ok for one night as a last resort.

  • 4/5

No eggs for me, but a beautiful sunrise...

  • 5/5

lovely views and fairly quiet a short walk into town.

  • 4/5

Our first time overnighting in a vehicle and it was the perfect little spot. Nice and quiet - there were a few ongoing noises from the factory and turbines but honestly we barely heard them. Perfect view in the morning of the ocean and sunrise. Will definitely be back here in the future!

  • 4/5

Tad sketchy, but 100% OK. bang next to sea. very quiet on a Tuesday night, no hassle whatsoever. windturbine buzzed away. wouldn't park near truck trailer depot...bit noisy. found this to be best place in lowestoft because its private, out of the way.

  • 1/5

5 or 6 youngsters came often to throw eggs to the motorhomes around 10:30pm and run away in the dark, it could happen anyday because they don't work anyway, don't bother to clean your vehicle too much because they came back 2 hours to check you with more eggs, this place is just &* like many other places.

  • 3/5

Stayed here Friday 22nd July. Quiet as wind turbine not operating. At about 11.30pm we were woken by a noise but were unable to see anything. Next morning we discovered that we had 3 eggs thrown at us.

  • 4/5

Stayed here for two nights. Felt nice and safe and other campers were present. We recommend not to park to close to the truck yard as very noisy with passing lorries and the fridge units diesel engines left on. We moved slightly away from the yard the following night and was perfectly fine. Well worth getting up for the view of the sunrise.

  • 5/5

Brilliant stopover. Arrived here Thursday eve around 9.30pm. About 5 other campers were here and a group of lads with cars on a meet up. Quiet and peaceful night, slight hum from factory nearby. Aware of cars leaving around midnight but the lads were very respectful. The views towards the sea in the morning were superb and the wind turbine is great viewing also. Highly recommended stopover.

  • 5/5

Great place to stop. Right in the coast. Benches, bins and quiet. We will return.

  • 2/5

the view is beautiful, however, we had eggs thrown at our moho Thursday 28th April 2022 at 10.30pm, really spoilt our stay. We were not the only Campervan or Lorry there that night.

  • 5/5

Really great spot - would highly recommend. We stopped for two nights, there are public toilets a short distance away, the high street is also near. Behind the car park there is a factory but in front where you park faces onto the most beautiful view, ness point, you can watch the sun rise, quite magical.

  • 5/5

pretty quiet and unrestricted parking, few other vans around, not long walk to the town. not beautiful but right next to the sea so not bad, stayed one night.

  • 4/5

Good place for overnighting. No facilities, and not the quietest, there is refrigerated trailers with engines running, and a fair bit of vehicular movement, but you ate fat enough away that unless you're a light sleeper, it should not be too much of an issue.

  • 3/5

Sloping marked spaces. More level unmarked spaces either side of the main concreted area. Unobstructed sea view (over sea wall). Primary daytime traffic are lorries, not too frequent thankfully. Rubbish bins provided. Quiet overnight, low background factory hum. Responsible grey water discharge is possible. Nice watching ships enter and exit Lowestoft. No shelter when windy, lovely when sunny.

  • 4/5

Good basic park up. listen to the whoosh of the largest UK wind turbine all day and all night, very therapeutic. only real draw back is it's so hard to find. 3 left turns together and it's the last one called Ravine. no services and it can get very busy with people coming and going to see the sea.

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night, loads of flat space, and a rubbish bin. Nice walk along the sea front with a park nearby, great views and you can see seals in the ocean if you look hard enough. No issues staying here.

  • 5/5

No problem parking here. park as long as you want. there's lots of places to park around - just off city center in Lowestoft.. no hassle.

  • 4/5

This was everything we wanted for our first park up; nice and peaceful with no disturbances, a lovely view of the sea and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Fantastic!

  • 5/5

Arrived late, but there was a few spaces left luckily. There was barking from a dog, but no problem at all. Very calm and peaceful, until the wind turbine starts picking up, but slept all night. woke up to a very beautiful view of the ocean. Not too fussed about the noise coming from. the windturbine as its very rear to see up close.

  • 4/5

Good park up, nice and quite. spent 2 nights here with 2 other Van's. a hum from the birds eye factory but hardly noticable. lots of fishermen that were friendly. would use again. shops 7 min walk away. lots of take always in town too.

  • 4/5

Still ok here no restrictions. lovely sea views and quiet. it's an unlikely industrial area but ideal for peaceful night.

  • 4/5

Brilliant spot. Really quiet. Most of the parking is on a slope but there is a little gravel bit slightly further down which we had no trouble on. Make sure your window is facing east because you are going to want to see the sunrise in the morning! Most easterly point you can park/camp. 10 minutes from town. Some might find the hum of the factory irritating but it's not loud.

  • 5/5

Excellent spot. industrial estate as listed. a few trucks parked nearby but quite spot wind turbine not turning so no noise att night. a fees cars and police doing the rounds in the day so didn't have a problem leaving the van and walking into town.

  • 5/5

Brilliant spot, quiet, still quiet here at almost 9am, beautiful sunrise and gorgeous view over sea. Clean and plenty of bins. I wish I could add photos as we were expecting it to be ok for a stop and we were amazed by how nice it was and found it one of the best UK spots we've ever stayed in. Highly recommend making the effort to get up and watch the sunrise, 'when in the east...' and all that The noises at night were consistent hums of the factory machines, so no sudden noises that woke us or anything, not even any dog walkers/joggers here still, so feels nice and secluded despite being near the industrial site.

  • 5/5

Used this for one night. Parked under the wind turbine and as I wear earplugs this wasn't a problem for me. Only one car drove up the road during the evening and I woke up to a stunning sea view. We didn't have any of the issues mentioned above, but I wouldn't leave my van unattended here as it is on an a scruffy industrial estate

  • 3/5

Noisy most of the night with factory working and lorries in and out. No facilities although some waste bins. No motor bike or late night teenagers.

  • 4/5

    Quite spot.

  • 3/5

Great quiet spot behind an industrial estate, lots of space for large vehicles, we spent the day sorting ourselves out following a couple of muddy wet days. Could be good to spend the night although we did not.

  • 3/5

Sea adjacent with an aroma of fish and chips from the nearby Birdseye factory. Fine for the night, although we shared the spot with a few lorries who left early in the morning. Views also of Gulliver the wind turbine and the back of an industrial estate.
