Great site with level parking for campervans/motorhomes, and Gary is friendly helpful guy. The parking bays have EHUs and water taps and there are basic facilities like, a small block that has a hot shower, toilets, and sinks for washing up dishes, all within 100 yards. We turned up in the dark and left early, so missed the views - but we heard they are stunning. Needless to say, we will be back!

Lovely site Right on the beach which give a great walk with the dogs And the road leading from the village to the site is also quiet for more lovely fresh air walks Showers are warm and wet like a shower should be and the toilets are clean Will 100percent stay here again
absolutely fantastic place, Brilliant owner who is lucky to live around this amazing scenery, Definitely will be back for many many more visits and the Gargoyles had to be bought, Joanne & the 3 Yorkies of the now McDougall clan of Scotland

Nice quiet site. Lovely views of the Solway. Variety of pitch types, basic facilities but all clean. Very friendly owner and reasonable prices. Open all year which is a winner for the winter months
Very original and calm place, beautiful views, everything we needed, very close to nature. This is a camplife at its best.

Gute weitläufige, ruhige Stellplätze, teilweise mit Meerblick (wenn das Wasser mal da ist). Freundlicher Empfang, sehr einfacher Sanitärbereich. Grauwasserablass für Womos nicht ebenerdig. Auf jeden Fall eine klare Empfehlung.
Really well situated site with great views over the estuary (better choice from non ehu pitches) Facilities, showers/toilets good for price £20 plus ehu but be aware the grey water disposal is not drive over. Dog friendly and coastal/estuary walks - be aware of tides.

Das Gelände ist sehr weitläufig und man hat den Eindruck, fast allein zu stehen. Es gibt einen direkten Zugang zum Strand, auf dem unser Hund sich mal so richtig austoben konnte. Allerdings zum Thema Toiletten wird absolut nur das nötigste geboten und der Platz unter der Dusche ist in so manchem Camper üppiger. Auch bei der Sauberkeit der ist sicherlich noch Luft nach oben.
Kann feefine in seiner Beschreibung erstmal nur Recht geben. Soweit ich sehen konnte, ist alles was des Campers Herz begehrt vorhanden. Dazu kommt noch der direkte Platz am Ufer, auf einer gut gepflegten Wiese, mit direktem Zugang zum Strand. Für autark Steher perfekt. 20£/Nacht finde ich ok.
Betreutes Freistehen mit toller Aussicht auf einfacher Wiese an Pferdehof. Betreiber sehr nett. Sanitäranlagen etc leider sehr einfach und ungepflegt. Ohne Strom haben wir 20£ pro Person bezahlt.

Emailed in advance for 2 night stopover. £20 per night. Phoned Gary on arrival and he met us within minutes. We had a great pitch in the top field with EHU and water. Ground was hard and level and beautifully mown. Gate at corner of the field gives direct access to the foreshore, great walking when the tide is out. Dog friendly. Facilities are no frills, but plenty of hot water. Lovely and friendly, Gary is really helpful, with good knowledge of the local area and what it has to offer. Variety of grass and hard standing pitches. All well maintained. Gary came to see us before we left, bearing a box of fresh eggs. Super.

Great little spot. Roads a bit rough going in but no over hanging branches or the like. It's basic but as the owner states loads of hot water, great bird life if you like to watch the birds. Nice walk along the coastline. Stayed one night, plenty of room - paid the extra for hook up.
Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Super Platz, grandiose Sicht auf die Bucht und wirklich sehr ruhig. Alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird (wenn auch einfach). Hunde willkommen, was will man mehr. Die 20 Pfund cash haben wir dafür gerne bezahlt!

20£ 2 persons in campervan, toilet facilities could be better, only 2 women toilets and 1 shower for all the people that were there. It's very big and has amazing views of the sea(you can go to the beach from the campsite).

Masser af plads:) Meget hjælpsom vært! Bilen brød sammen og i løbet af kort tid havde han arrangeret en mobil mekaniker til at komme forbi:) Primitive forhold, men meget fine.
Schöner Platz mit großzügigen Stellplätzen; 2 Sterne Abzug für die ungepflegten, ekligen sanitären Anlagen. 1 Stern Abzug, weil offenbar Einheimische 2£ weniger zahlen als ausländische Touristen. Wir haben 20£ für ein Wohnmobil und 2 Personen bezahlt.
Großartige 4 Sterne für die ausgezeichnete Lage mit gradioser Lage, die super nette Begrüßung, und fast keine Nachbarn. Der Stern Abzug für die sanitären Anlagen, wobei man anmerken muss, dass (es vielleicht auf die Vorgängerin ankommt…) alles spartanisch aber vorhanden ist! Wir sind nicht darauf angewiesen und würden immer wieder kommen!
Very freindly welcome. 18£ with electric, no extra charges. several camping pitches with Electric. alot of space between campervans which means 50m on average. drinking water at your pitch. Some hard standing pitches and the others on Grass , quite level too. Toilets and shower are of small self built container type. Clean but cramped. if the Toilets etc were better then 4 stars.

Me and Jules stayed for 1 night paying £18.00 which included electric hook-up. Gary is an affable host; he even brought over a box of free range eggs. The sight over the Solway Firth was refreshing. Site is very dog friendly. Stone statues, various recreational vehicles/motorhomes equipment. I'd give it a 5 rating but found the mens shower cubicle too small, and I'm an average build.
States camping and caravan club members only. Not sure if old sign as nobody else mentioned it

Fantastic spot and well priced , we had a great spot right at the beach , the staff there are wonderful , we also came away with some garden statues at a great price , Would highly recommend if we had more stars to give it would be 10/10 Thanks again
Fabulous spot on the way home from Scotland. Excellent views of the Lake District and Solway Firth. Friendly, helpful owners, all basic facilities. Path straight onto the beach for walks. Peaceful, bright buttercups and ponies grazing. Couldn’t ask for more!
