This stopover is being blocked off. I actually live here. Unfortunately. Due to a minority that leave a mess and steal firewood from the local business that uses the adjacent field. The owner has had no alternative. Sad as I like to travel in my motor home but I have to totally agree with the decision.

Only really space for one camper unless you park very close. We were second to arrive so didn't stay. Road very pot-holed and area looked well used by fishermen and residents. Didn't want to annoy either by being in the way, so headed for Stay for Night forest car park at Fearnoch 5 mins down the road instead. Felt dodgy here.

Peaceful spot at the edge of the loch at the end of the road. There was one van already parked on the bend, but there is room for a further van on the verge just before the jetty. A great first night in our new campervan.

Nice spot, maybe a bit muddy if wet, would maybe avoid in larger vehicles, completely fine in a transit connect. Quiet, no miggies, quite windy.

Great spot for a camper. So peaceful and quiet. First time camping with our baby and he had the best nights sleep ever. We got there at 4pm and a couple of people came to see if free so get there early. One guy did fit his vw on the concrete boat launch a little further down but the area does look well used by fishermen.

Fantastic spot. park on the patch of grass at the bend before the creepy shed. beautiful maritime vibe. if you go on a Saturday there are beautiful gardens to check out along the road only open Saturday.

Very quiet and beautiful spot overlooking the loch. The area is still obviously still used for some light industry and fishing, although we arrived around 4pm and left around 9am and were not disturbed in the slightest. Good phone reception. The occasional train on the nearby track

There is a flatter spot just before the end of the road on a slight bend. You can park just to the edge of the road without blocking the track. Make sure you go to the end of the track and don't park at the truck turning point up the road. Very quiet and lovely spot.

Gorgeous view and surroundings. Close to the shore and very quiet. Trains stop around 11pm but they aren't too loud anyway.
