Nice Place, for free. Near Ocean. Short space for two medium campers, the rest are small bays for cars. usual signs of no overnight camping. beautiful view of Bamborough castle.

Stayed this week, no signs preventing overnight camping in this lay-by. And no height restrictions. Excellent stay with beautiful views can walk to public toilets which were open 24hrs

We absolutely loved this spot, the view was fantastic. we have stayed here 2 nights now and both times were pretty full but we managed to find a place. Went for a nice morning swim and dried off on the bench in front with a beautiful view of the castle.

Ideal for mini campers, amazing views of lindesfarne on the left, Bamburgh castle to the right. Stayed on Saturday night, busy with no spaces left at around 6pm. Day cars did leave throughout the early evening and most after sunset freeing up spaces. All campers were quiet and respectful which made a unforgettable stay. No village store.

Stunning spot. Some spaces for bigger vans, others only suitable for car size micro campers. Very quiet at night except for one angry tooter who went by at around midnight.

Great place with great views. First come first served for parking. Beach is 10ft away with some benches for sitting. Other campers in the area which make you feel safe

Great little spot stayed here for a night over the NY period can get busy but no “no overnight signs” some large motor homes but personally wouldn’t recommend anything bigger than a T5 due to possible overhang on the road. Beautiful spot and very quiet at night but no bins so don’t forget to bring a bag for rubbish to take home!

Great spot, right next to the sea. Very peaceful night. I was in a large motorhome and had no problem parking up.

Absolutely beautiful outlook from this spot. I'm 5.5m and just about fitted in. Not really suitable for anything longer although some parked sideways which was a bit antisocial. Unsurprisingly it was a busyish spot. No 'no overnigh' signs.

Various Parking along this road, some signs saying do not park overnight. Not sure how many locals are in this town, mostly seems to be holiday rental homes and lots of southerners! (I am one so don’t hate) absolutely stunning empty beach just to the left. We found a spot by the side of the road with no restrictions. Only suitable for small vans.

Stayed for two nights at the end of The Wynding by the golf club. Great views and walks nearby. Lots of restrictions nearby but we had no problems at all.

Wonderful stay. Quiet and clean with beautiful views. So much to see and do! Will definitely be back!

Great spot right next to beach. 2 x free Car parks each with 2m height barrier spent the night with around 8 other campers. no facilities

Minimal length for parking. Not suitable for anything greater than the size of a large car will fit in these bays. There is no room for any overhang as its directly on a single track road or a 0.5 m wooden fence type barrier beachside
