Just stopped for a few hours during the day. As described by others. There are plenty of walking trails nearby.

Beautiful spot but no one seems to mention the noisy traffic flying past from around 5am! A really bad night’s sleep (Monday 7th Aug) :/ One car even held their horn as they passed! Why do people do that!?

The absolute proper vanlife spot - it's like being in the middle of a prairie but with some internet.

Great park up for the night, exposed but not to windy, peaceful (hardly any vehicles come by in the night), and for somewhere so remote the phone signal was incredibly good! Amazing views to wake up to in the morning!

Very quiet, felt safe. Nice level ground. There's a little bin but no other facilities. Reception on EE was excellent. Not far off A66 so good stopover as it's far enough away to not hear the traffic

Great little spot, out on the moor. Stayed two nights; yes, it can be breezy, and you'll have sheep for company. Road very quiet at night.

Stayed here last night nice and quiet 1 small bin for rubbish good phone single but a bit windy

Hard ground ok but stay away from grass area, very boggy. Stayed overnight, very quite, good t.v and phone signal, Sheep may wander into parking area. Good overnight stop no facilities except one small bin.

great spot. very level ground. right next to a road but very little traffic goes by. Only a couple of cars go by every hour during the day and even less so at night. Just watch not to park too far onto the grass as they are soft and you will sink in like us. lucky to escape out without a tow haha. Plenty of space. Very small bin also here but be sure to be considerate and not use whole bin space.

What 3 words location is…. Admiral spin irritated. Needed stop over and quiet level location with ample space for a number of moho’s. Sheep roaming so may disrupt light sleepers

Remote, quiet and peaceful. Occaisonal passing vehicles overnight. Wheelie bin for rubbish so good to see nothing laying about.

Stayed Mon 7th Sept 2020. a few miles off the main A66. Very peaceful night although very windy up there amongst the local wildlife. Parked up in the dark on a gravel area, (was initially worried/careful parking as I could see a lot of water logged grass) didn’t need to use levelling chocks and woke up to beautiful, stunning scenery (like a painting) on a sunny morning. No services, there was a wheelie bin so able to dispose of rubbish safely. Very peaceful- recommended if you’re self sufficient

Very peaceful parking place. We stayed for 2 nights with a couple of other campers.

Very peaceful location with gorgeous views. A couple of cars with walkers through the day but undisturbed from 7pm onwards. road is very quiet, heard 1 car all night. lots of sheep, cows and birds to watch go by. level enough to not need blocks, good hard surface. quite exposed so would avoid in stormy weather cheers ?
