Possibly our favourite stop in Ireland. Almost 360 degree views from here. Very close to the Marconi walk. 1 other camper without for the night. The night sky was the best we've ever seen and we were lucky to have no clouds. Quiet road with no traffic at night. Would recommend.

Prachtig rondom uitzicht. Schitterende plaats. Géén services zelfs geen vuilnisbak op de locatie dus respecteer het milieu en neem al je afval mooi mee, zodat deze plaats ook niet verboden wordt in de toekomst. In de administratieve regio Galway zijn immers veel borden te zien no overnight stay hier staat geen zulk bord. De wind viel zeer goed mee. Er is een picknick tafel aanwezig.
Ein sehr schöner Platz. Wie oben im Text beschrieben finde ich ihn nicht ausreichend für 10 Wohnmobile, höchstren 4 bis 5. Heute war es nicht windig und der Rundumblick ist traumhaft.
Toch een mooie rustige plaats en wij hadden geen wind. Zeer kalme nacht en een prachtige view.

Une vue extraordinaire a 360°. Calme absolu, seulement troublé par quelques vaches.
Stunning stop over. Perfect 360 degree views and a spectacular place for breakfast especially when the sun is shining like it was for us. locals came and went but all friendly and no issue with us staying. Worth doing the full loop and keeping an eye out for the seals
Great view, quiet road, can be a bit windy tho.
Brilliant stop beautiful views very flat 4 other campers. No signs saying dont park. calm night in summer. No facilities. Walking only on roads around the area. Convenient for Clifden.

Great views of the bay and peninsula, parking is at the Alcock and Brown landing Commemorative monument, roadside along a quite road with only a few passing cars, stayed on a Thursday night in early June and only one other camper was here, only disturbed one by loud music from a car that left shortly afterwards.
A great spot with lovely panoramic views. We woke up to rain but it didn't spoil things as the view was still enchanting as we peered out of our windows with a hot mug of tea!
Great spot to visit the memorial and the view is superb even on a dull day like we had. Never stopped overnight due to the forecasted high winds as it would be very exposed.
Vue exceptionnelle à 360° sur Clifden et Mannin Bay et jusqu’aux Twelve Ben. Memorial Alcock et Brown et table de pique-nique. Il y a de la place, nous étions seuls pour la nuit. La route d’accès est étroite mais pas trop longue. Place pour manœuvrer en haut. Il y avait effectivement beaucoup de vent !
Au calme, vue magnifique. Nous sommes chanceux, il n'y a pas du tout de vent.
