Staid for 2 nights in November, big parking place,some other campers there. We stoped on gravel, but there was smaller concrete parking lot full of campers right next to the lift.
Très grand parking de la télécabine du glacier du Mölltaler, divisé en plusieurs lots; certaines zones sont de niveau, d'autres un peu moins; gravier et herbe. Belle cascade à proximité et visible. Animé pendant la journée, presque désert la nuit (contrairement à beaucoup d'endroits similaires dans la région, rien n'interdit de stationner la nuit).
Very big parking of the mölltaler glacier cablecar, divided in multiple lots; some areas are level, some a bit less; gravel and grass. Nice waterfall nearby and visible. Busy during the day, almost desert at night (contrary to many similar places in the area, there is no sign forbidding overnight parking).
Sehr großer Parkplatz der Mölltaler Gletscherbahn, aufgeteilt in mehrere Parzellen; Einige Bereiche sind eben, andere etwas weniger; Kies und Gras. Schöner Wasserfall in der Nähe und sichtbar. Tagsüber viel los, nachts fast leer (im Gegensatz zu vielen ähnlichen Orten in der Gegend gibt es kein Hinweisschild, das das Parken über Nacht verbietet).

JLEE36616/01/2024Beautiful quiet night with gentle weather conditions. We were the only ones down on the gravel/grassed/snow/ice area. Phone service is patchy but does work a little.

A huge parking lot with no restrictions, we were literally alone (wintertime), in the morning there’s people coming to go up to the glacier. super quiet and peaceful. there are toilets but I’m pretty sure they are only open during the cable car operating hours.

Plenty of space for parking. There are always several campers here, even overnight. Parking is free. Dostatek místa pro parkování. Vždy je tady několik obytek i přes noc. Parkoviště je zdarma.

04.10.2023 - 1050 Parkplätze - davon belegen wir heute Abend einen - 1049 sind noch frei. Wir sind mit dem letzten Tageslicht angekommen und hoffen, dass die Gletscherbahn morgen wieder öffnet. Bis auf das leise Plätschern des Wasserfalls ist es absolut ruhig - herrlich! Keine Verbotsschilder, deshalb hoffen wir auf eine ruhige Nacht. Update: Eine sehr ruhige und entspannte Nacht!
as39824/08/2023Wir waren mit unserem 7,5m Wohni auf diesem Platz und haben eine wunderbare Nacht verbracht! Zugegebenermaßen ist die Straße hier hoch sehr kurvig und zäh :-) Allerdings ist es ein toller Platz fürs Übernachten. Und es ist wirklich ausreichend Platz. Außer uns waren noch zwei andere Camper da. Pluspunkt: Wir hatten beim Frühstück eine tolle Aussicht!

Abseits vom großen Touristenstrom, wenn die Tagesgäste weg sind, ein idealer Übernachtungsplatz. In klarer Nacht kann man den Sternenhimmel beobachten! Man kann/soll sogar den Müllcontainer an der Einfahrt zum obersten Parkplatz nutzen. Schön daß es solch "wilde Plätze" noch gibt

Nous sommes resté 3 jours sans soucis Accès facile Beaucoup de places Très calme la nuit Ce mettre au fond du parking pour ne pas gêner les voitures 4G ok Très belle randonnée De la fraîcheur en été, au top ! Il ya une monté mécanique pour accéder au sommet mais cela coûte 40€ par personne, super chère !

Nice big parking at the cable car. We spent here 1 night and were all alone. No signs that camping is forbidden and we had no problems.

Ein wunderschöner Platz auch gut über Nacht. Es gibt keine Schilder auf denen es untersagt ist zu übernachten. Auch auf Nachfrage bei der Bahn war es kein Problem hier eine Nacht zu bleiben. Wir waren Mitte August ganz allein hier über Nacht.

Great place to park and sleep, flat, quiet. Dont expect anything extraordinary, its just a parking place. In the mornig we used toilet in entrance station of Molltaler Gletscher, it is free (i dont know if it is open at night, but in the morning it was)

Afgelopen week hier gestaan, geen probleem. Vandaag, 29-7-20 wilden we hier weer overnachten en werden we weggestuurd door de politie om 21.00 uur. Volgens de politie waren er klachten dat er te vaak gekampeerd werd.

Perfect spot for the night without disturbance. You get to be right in the nature with a great view of the waterfall and the mountains and a great starting point for hiking (for example to the Duisburger Hütte). A toilette and sink can be used at the glacier station while the opening hours.

Parking sin servcios, tranquilo y perfecto para visitar el glaciar. No hay señal de prohibicion de pernocta. Interesante la Karnten Card, incluida la subida al glaciar
