We spent an afternoon there a week ago. it is very popular. The donkeys can be a pest, in asking for food, doing the rounds of picnickers. it is free, but no overnighting.

Camping La Ferme du Bord De Mer, seaside pitches, very pleasant welcome, nice atmosphere, 1 km from Barfleur via the coastal path, 15 minutes on foot from the Gatteville lighthouse. Pleasant beach Open with sanitary facilities from April 19, 2024 to September 16, 2024. 11 stabilized pitches for reception in very low season €14.80 per night (for 1 pitch, 2 people, 10 amps, tourist tax & eco-participation, motorhome service terminal access) from September 23, 2023 until 19 April 2024 (No sanitary facilities in winter). New for 2024: 8 pitches with individual toilets. Pitch with PREMIUM private toilets from May 2, 2024.
