Place smells like rotten fish. People left their dirt and shit overhere. Due to the rain the waterlevel is high and everything is muddy. Water also not suited for baithing.
Lieu magique au bord du lac du barrage de maranhao - calme absolu, possibilité de se baigner (mais accès au lac caillouteux) vue magnifique. Très (trop) chaud en journée l’été mais soirée et nuit au top ! Le soir des chevaux viennent boire au bord du lac non loin de nous. Plusieurs spots le long du lac

Magischer Ort am Stausee von Maranhao - absolute Ruhe, Möglichkeit zum Baden (aber Zugang zum steinigen See) herrliche Aussicht. Sehr (zu) heißer Tag im Sommer, aber Nacht und Nacht an der Spitze! Am Abend kommen Pferde zum Trinken an den See, nicht weit von uns. Mehrere Stellen entlang des Sees

VerinhaB26/07/2023Adorámos este spot. Paisagem espetacular e pôr do sol fabuloso. Acabámos por pernoitar aqui. Super calmo, mas cuidado com os mosquitos. Também decidimos nadar na Albufeira, mas não o voltaria a repetir porque ficámos com uns bichinhos estranhos na pele (que rapidamente tirámos). Os cavalos são amigáveis (não são cavalos selvagens).
christophoto09/05/2023Chouette endroit tranquille et isolé. On a eu la chance de voir les chevaux le soir au bord de l'eau. Plus pour van, la route n'est pas extra, surtout quand on veut faire le tour. Et puis beaucoup de moustiques.

Lepanto66609/03/2023Eigentlich ein schöner Ort, ruhig und abgelegen. Als wir ankamen total verdreckt, überall Müll, benutztes Toilettenpapier und andere menschliche Hinterlassenschaften. So machen rücksichtslose Camper alles kaputt.

Lovely, calm place with leveled grounds for camping. We stayed here for the night and enjoyed a very peaceful morning by the lake. Upon entering, choose the path on the right rather than the left - it will have less low hanging tree branches.

lac super sympa, et magnifique coucher de soleil. aucun pb pour dormir, nous avons juste été réveillé par les pecheurs le matin. le spot est très bien indiqué, le chemin est au bord de la route principale juste au niveau du point GPS.

It’s ok but actually pretty / too close to people living here. It just doesn’t really feels like a nature spot to me. To be honest I would expect locals to crack down on this place and I can understand that.

Bom lugar para descansar, à beira da Albufeira do Maranhão. Não é uma estação de serviço, não tem muito bons acessos, mas o suficiente para não ter muita afluência de carros. Podem se ver alguns cavalos!!

Mit kleinem Van die linke Abfahrt nehmen. Führt zu einer traumhaften Halbinsel. Bisher ist der Ort sauber, den Müll, der angeschwemmt wurde, haben wir mitgenommen. Abends waren freundliche Fischer da.
swch18/10/2020Platz ist Okay. Anfahrt rechts halten. Links ist die Höhe durch Bäume begrenzt. Es hat eine Pferdeherde. Sehr viele Fliegen und Mücken. Leider läuft gegenüber eine Wasserpumpe die ganze Nacht durch. Einige Fischer, JetSki und WasserSki.

ViagensDaquiParaAli27/08/2020Dos sítios mais incríveis em que já ficámos! Tem sombra na parte mais acima. Um rebanho de ovelhas visitaram-nos 2 vezes por dia. Contudo, o ponto negativo é que havia MUITO lixo no chão, apesar de existir contentores de lixo. Estivemos a limpar a área onde dormimos e colocámos cartazes a convidar a respeitar o lugar. Teve algumas motas de água e de motocross mas no geral esteve-se muito bem!

We were not lucky enough to see horses but we were surrounded by sheep which was also fantastic. Although the place had some people riding motorbikes and others fishing, it was an incredible experience.

El lugar más tranquilo en el que hemos descansado. Silencio. Una pasada los caballos sueltos y muy amigables. No hay sombra. En la noche es más fresco y puede haber aire. Es posible meterse al lago.

Lugar tranquilo para descansar y muy bonito. La única pega es la basura, que había bastantes plásticos y cosas en general sin recoger.

Amazing oh my good location! Very quiet with a few people fishing that soon went and one other van but very latch space and easy to find sone peace and great for swimming in the heat!
