The Carpenters Arms, Dale Abbey, Ilkeston, Derby DE7 4PP Pretty rural pub 15 miles from Derby, with water, black disposal. £5 per night eating in well priced pub and ehu for £5. (Cash for parking and ehu, pub has card machine) Friendly pub, carpark isn't too big but they accommodate longer vehicles. Menu in pub is very trad but reasonably priced.

Nice little overnight stop. Car park fairly level, but not huge. Free parking if you are member. £5 overnight or £10 with EHU. Fresh water, grey waste, and black waste disposal point. Well priced nice pub food. Very pretty village with lots of lovely walks.

Deze plaats gekozen als tussenstop. Maar het beviel me hier wel. We zijn hier een extra nacht gebleven. Mooie wandeling tussen de velden gedaan. Eten in de pub was ok en vriendelijke mensen.

Great location for a quick overnight stop. We stayed here last night after looking for somewhere close to the M1. Arrived at 10pm. Friendly pub...paid 5 pound for the night. Only 4 stars as no overnight toilet but wasn't an issue

Excellent stopover, good selection of pub food and beers. Lots of walking from pub, busy with customers but quiet overnight. Very popular, would recommend, lovely part of the world. EHU available £5

Excellent stop. Second time for us. Reasonable food at good prices. Lovely local historic walks. Non pub customers day time park £1, £4 overnight. Electric available at extra cost.

What a fabulous find, amazing staff, tasty food, great prices and fabulous facilities. All locals are friendly and welcoming. Electric hook up if you want it for £10 a night, fresh water to fill motor home, toilet disposal and grey water disposal also available. We will definitely be back.

Our second visit, last in Aug 19.. Still a cracking spot, very friendly and helpful staff, £5 to stay and £5 for EHU. The pub WiFi could still be received in the parkup spot at the end of the car park. Very quiet overnight. Food in the pub was reasonably priced, very good quality.

Perfect for overnight, everything you need for the motorhome lifestyle, also staff very polite and showed us around, 5/5 from me. (Make sure you book over the phone)

What a place ehu empty grey waste filled up fresh water made fell very welcome Phil made us feel like a local had the mixed grill!!! Amazing beer very good choice please use this place another 5 vans here so call before arriving to get ehu be back again

Excellent quiet stay in very large carpark behind the pub. A couple of other motorhomes also stayed the night. Lovely pub food, friendly staff. Serenaded by George Ezra most of the evening!!! Highly recommended.

Lovely park up, very quiet, electric hook up, waste disposal etc, and all for £5 per night, plus good pub grub, highly recommend.

We parked our campervan here on Saturday night as part of the pub stop arrangement. All the staff were so friendly and the place has such a nice feel to it we decided to stay another night. Steve and Michelle couldn't do enough for us, they even kept is 2 roast diners to one side until we had a walk. Great stopover and nice pub. Thanks everyone

Stayed here (23/4). Didn't book to stay (probably advisable) but they were more than welcoming. Only £5 for a peaceful, safe and secure place to stay. Food was lovely, ale was spot on and the hospitality was first class. Will definitely be visiting again.

Wir sind spät Abends gekommen und haben nur den Service nutzen wollen. Wir riefen vorher an und der sehr freundliche Besitzer kam bei unserer Ankunft raus und zeigte uns den Service-Bereich. Da wir kein Bargeld hatten, erließ er uns die Kosten von £2. 10/10! Vielen Dank für den herzlichen Empfang! Parkplatz auch zu empfehlen.

Great car park with plenty of spaces. Have to pay £5 to stay overnight even if you’re eating and drinking which most pubs don’t bother with but would still highly recommend anyway as the food was great and it’s a convenient and safe pub car park.

Great stop- charged £5 to stay over despite eating in the pub and £5 for EHU. Still worth it. Very quiet and friendly staff. Good local walks in the morning. 5 other vans but plenty of space.

We stayed last night 04/05/21 really good location, the people are really nice, unfortunately the bar had closed by the time we arrived, however, there is a big Tesco or papa Johns 10 mins away if that’s your thing.
