super petit parc derrière le château. esturgeon de plus d'un mètre visible au travers de vitre au fond petit bassin, moutons, tortues....

Lovely spot in a quiet village. However we were woken by someone knocking on the window at 2am, this concerned us so we moved. Potentially teenagers messing around but we did not feel welcome to stay.

Lovely place to stay the night. Church bells ring hourly until ten pm and start again at 6am but apart from that, very peaceful! Drinking water available from tap at the top of the road. Friendly locals pass by walking their dogs. Would definitely stay again.

Our campsite is located at the foot of Schönbühel Castle, between Melk and Aggstein on the right bank of the Danube. On an area of around 7,000 m², with beautiful old trees, every camper will find a place to relax and unwind. The campsite is located directly on the Danube cycle path and a comfortable distance from the nearest road. To ensure that your physical well-being is not neglected, there is a restaurant with an inviting terrace and a winter garden right on site. Rooms and apartments offer a spectacular view of the Danube and Schönbühel Castle. Swimming opportunities can be found right on the doorstep - adventure, culture and nature - everyone gets their money's worth here. The campsite faces west and offers the most beautiful sunsets in the Wachau in the evenings. Your safety is also well taken care of, the flood protection surrounds the campsite and offers our guests maximum safety.

Ideal place for transit / short break / starting point for day trips, right next to the thermal baths and Vulkanland bike path.
