It’s been raining and I’m not excited about leaving this park up.. mud, narrow lane and a sheer drop on one side.. wish me luck! Gorgeous loch but thats about it.. I have two dogs and there doesn’t seem to be many options for walking at all. Road is very busy near by
Der Ort ist sehr schön, der Fischerei Aufseher trägt die Namen ein und bietet Müllsäcke an. Habt Respekt vor diesem Ort und nehmt Müll mit, auch den Müll den andere ohne nachzudenken hinterlassen haben. Unser Hund ist unten am Wasser im eine zerbrochene Glasflasche getreten und hat sich verletzt.. Passt auf und leint eure Hunde besser nicht ab ohne vorher alles weggesammelt zu haben...
Lovely view out through the trees to the loch. Small trails run down to the waters edge. Fairly flat, room for maybe 4 vans. We’re a XLWB transit and had no trouble getting in and out.
Super petit spot en contre bas de la route et juste au dessus du Loch. Paisible et ombragé. Merci de ramasser ses papiers, il y a une poubelle en plus ! Enjoy :)
No problem with access. Another van and 2x low BMWs there when we arrived in 4x4, but could be tight to turn around in anything big with a steep drop off to the loch. Some people blocking the way to the beach, some road noise if you're a very light sleeper, but lovely spot and a bin present. Seemed quite clean after the winter, please keep it that way
not suitable anything but a 4x4 very very steep gravel drive and dead end with virtually nowhere to turn round, and once you turn in you have no alternative but to go down the slope, the drive is that uneven you will bottom out we damaged out motorhome as the drive is so unsuitable for anything but a 4x4...this should not realy be on park4 night unless it says for 4x4!!!
Prachtige plek! Weg naar binnen is wat smal, stijl en hobbelig hierdoor niet voor ieder vervoer geschikt. Ook heerlijk kunnen zwemmen!

Nice quiet spot just off the road, down a fairly steep slope. human poo comments are still true but only out in the bushes. Lovely fishing spot off a rocky beach. Fishing warden came and said hello in the morning

Parked here last night. The reviews were correct about the rubbish, toilet paper and literal poo. My husband and I travel with dogs, dogs that will eat anything. Having planned our journey in advance we were expecting trash and took precautions to clean up OTHER people’s mess. There is a bin, have some respect! After cleaning up the mess, it was a wonderful place to be.
Great spot off the road, down a short but bumpy steep track. stayed 1 night. it was busy with families camping down on the lake in June at the weekend.
Steep-ish gravel track to get in - fine in our camper van but may be difficult in larger vehicles. Great spot with a bin provided by LAIA. Far enough off the road. Plenty of Midges in the morning when damp but when dry and sunny fairly low numbers. Up at the gravel section where we left our van rubbish was minimal, however 10m down the footpath to the beach people clearly can’t be bothered.
Great campsite if you hangout closer to the water as there was loads of trash everywhere. We picked up a garbage bags worth, please don’t litter as it ruins it for other people. No midges just mosquitos, which weren’t too bad!
Nice spot with a short track off the road towards the lake,. would be tricky in a big camper. camp/park on the track or by the lake. Quite clean, except for a bit to much toilet paper. Probably better places along the southern edge of loch awe forwards Ford
