Parking near a small beach off the beaten track. Quite a busy road up to the lighthouse early evening but it quietened off. Wind getting up a little for the upcoming storm but quite a sheltered position. Picturesque. No facilities.
We stayed one afternoon for a nap and a walk. It is a beautiful and quiet spot. In November not many people around. We used a small transporter for the trip, in that the road was no problem.
I’m here in motorhome. Yes, you can turn around in this bay parking area. Yes, you can go through the gate and park at the end and turn around easily but it’s a single track to lighthouse (private) so difficult. Fish from end area near lighthouse as well known. Quiet out of season, but likely busy in. The road to this park up is single track for miles but you can see others coming a mile off due to straight roads so can plan to step aside
Beautiful beach I stayed night with no problems,but it was very busy on a weekday,be very careful if you are in a motorhome because there is nowhere to turn around if other people are there,it's literally a small road with a grass verge that's it,gate is closed to the lighthouse but I seen others open it and drive up didn't do it myself but it is possible if you close the gate behind you.
Is is indeed a beautiful bay and a great walk to the lighthouse with stunning scenery the downside is that there is miles of narrow lanes to reach it and once there , there is only parking on a narrow grass bank or a bit of tarmac at the end. It is almost impossible to turn round. It was very busy when we were there 4/6 , not only cars and motorhomes but people camping. Litter thrown in with cows

Beautiful location, lovely walk to the lighthouse, parking for 4 small Motorhomes, no services, good Eir and Clear mobile signals..
Great place to overnight and spend a day. Only space for 2-3 vans and it is busy with fishermen, dog walkers and local swimmers during daytime even in October. Walk or drive (limited turning) out to the lighthouse is recommended with excellent views. No facilities so take everything away with you

Lovely spot for a night in a calm cove. Just pulled of road on flat grass area above beach. Lovely calm bay for a swim. No services, patchy 4g. Park at beach and walked out the 2km to the lighthouse. Cattle on the lighthouse road but didn’t bother us, we kept our dog on the lead. Really nice spot!
