Excellent place. Showers are great (smart card at Larkin's pub). They serve a fish and chips to die for. and your dog can come in with you (mine loved it!). beautiful setting with a very nice woodland walk and loads of water related activities. would highly recommend.

This is an excellent spot to park up. Cards to access the facilities can be bought in Larkins pub, it was €8 for a card with 10 credits. Great pints of Guinness in Ciss Ryan’ and excellent food in Larkin’s. Highly recommend, definitely will be back!

Excellent spot. Need to pay for shower and laundry using Irish waterways card, well worth it. Shower is good, lasts a good length of time. We ate in Larkins pub, highly recommend it - food and staff first class, and they allow dogs into the bar. Forest walk is short but enjoyable. Everyone we met was really friendly. We will definitely return.

Petit coin tranquille au bord du lac. Sur place douche payante et toilettes. 2 pubs très sympas et petite balade dans un bois.

Plenty of parking. One pub has great food and the other has great Guinness! just to add to the notes about getting water, there is a tap up at the rectangular harbour, but with new barriers you need a very long hose to get to it. However there is a little coffee shop (red roof) with a tap on is outside wall, very easy to access. buy a coffee if you're using it during the day.

Busy with teens until late, but once it got dark they left and it was very peaceful. Had a walk through the nearby woods and a shower with the waterways card. Lovely locals, 1 other van over night. Fresh water available on the square Dock by the woods.

Stayed for one night.Handy, quiet spot. Nice forest walk nearby and great sheltered table and seatjng with built in bbq grates. we used the toilets and showers using our waterways Ireland card. clean and hot shower. Good internet coverage and slackline spot s. Hope to try local restaurants next time.

Stayed overnight was a few teenagers having drinks at close picnic area but no problem. We parked up and enjoyed drinks and food in Larkins. Quiet spot at night with lovely views

Perfect for an overnight stay. Waterways Ireland facilities (showers, toilets & laundry) access via their paid card system. Two pubs on the marina and Larkins does great food. No electric and the spaces are for cars only so big campers might have to take up extra space. We are 7.5ft long and could over hang a grass area. All in all nice stopover.

Excellent emplacement, mais il faut accepter l’ambiance conviviale et « fêtes » des bars à proximité. Le calme est arrivé vers 1h du matin. Un réveil à la hauteur de nos attentes, avec des canards et des signes en primes! Top. Aire de jeux pour les enfants, et des sentiers pour des balades. Super endroit!

Great spot. Water tap on the marina pontoon, or another to the left by the harbour. Nice convivial feel, and a gentle bumble of people in vans and boats coming and going. Plenty of space in early August. Lovely woodland walk with kids fairy trail. Meant to come as a quick stopover but stayed most of the day as it was so nice.

Very nice place to stay, quiet at night. although could be very busy during the day. water tap on the wall at the entrance, toilets, showers , bins. larkins pub nearby serves food and drinks .recommend

Quiet location, toilets open 8am-8pm, otherwise you'll need to purchase the waterways smart card. No other cars/vans when we were there on a Friday night. Parked on the edge of the lower carpark. Very clean, a few garbage bins, toilets adequate and clean when open.

Can be busy at weekends. Best arrive late or early for spot around outside of carpark. Weekdays less busy. Waterways card available at Larkins pub. Card has 10 units on (7.80 euros). This gives you access to showers (2 units). Toilets (free), washing machine (5 units) and tumble drier (5 units). There is a plug in laundry room so can use for hairdryer etc.
