Great for the night. Nice view on loch. Nice to be on site to do the mountain trail in the morning

Normalement inadapté aux camping cars mais nous avons pu trouver une place pour y dormir. Nuit tranquille mais plein de midges.

Belle place assez plat avec vue directe sur le loch. Midges de La partie. Assez proche de la route mais assez calme.

Gran parking apartado de la carretera, buenas vistas y paseos disponibles. Señal mala

Great spot for stopping overnight. It’s right next to the loch and sheltered by trees. Perfect for doing the fairly strenuous mountain trail around the nature reserve, but with great views when you reach the top. Fairly flat, lots of room for other vans. Was a little midgey for being so early in the season. Would imagine it would be horrific in July and august for midges.

We didn’t stay because we couldn’t settle due to the flies/ midges/ mosquitos. Although there are lovely walks and views. We came back for a lovely cold swim the next morning.

This is an absolute dream spot for wildcamping, right next to the lake with mountain views. Quiet, plenty of space and lots of level spots. An amazing view to wake up to and great walks in the area.

enough parking for a lot of campers, fairly level on the loch side, sloped if you are at the back though. great views of the rugged mountains, great base for a few local walks too

06/08/22 nous y avons passé la nuit avec notre grand camping car, face au loch. Calme et prêt pour le départ pour la rando le lendemain( très jolie rando). C'est un parking mais dans la nature même si proche de la route

Great spot at the base of Beinn Eighe. Busy on arrival but quickly thinned out as cars left later in the day. Plenty of space for parking, and a short clamber from the Loch. No signal or facilities, but public toilets 5 minutes down the road in Kinlochewe. Walking trails are great, Mountain trail is tougher than expected but gives a good walk and amazing views!

effectivement une très belle vue et une baignade possible. belle randonnée en partant du site. malheureusement à cause des midges nous avons du passer la soirée enfermés dans le van... dommage...

Loved it so much here we stayed 2 nights. The views are stunning. We have a large van and didn’t have any issues parking. There are footpaths off the car park so good for dogs. We went for a dip in the loch which is right next to the car park. Signal was fine on EE but weak on o2. There is a tap at the public toilets down the road in Kinlochewe plus a shop selling essentials.

Had a gorgeous night here, road was VERY quiet during the night! Was amazing for a swim in the loch too! Would defo recommend! Our only downfall was a naughty little blue tit having a go at itself in our wing mirror from 5am for nearly 2 hours but hey that’s nature!

We had a very quiet night here. Contrary to other reviews, we would say this was a smaller car park, perhaps more suitable for vans / smaller M/H's. No facilities at all but there are very clean toilets at the Visitor Centre a short drive away. Beautiful location so please leave a donation to help maintain it.

Quiet night spent here, great walking from the car park which overlooks the Loch. Can find level easily. No amenities.

Doesn’t get much better than this. Easy to get to, great view, amazing walks from the car park.. If you’re brave enough you can have a dip in the loch ;)

Great spot! Easily fits large campers/motor homes. We arrived around 5/6 and got a spot at the front directly overlooking loch Maree. There’s no facilities but we took the plunge and went in the lake in the morning! One of our favourite spots on the NC500 for the view and swimming

Great place for overnight. Spent the night here 15/8/21. Lots of room, not that many vans. No facilities but lovely views. Only downside was a swarm of Midgeys in the morning!

Plenty of space for 5 or more large campervans/motor homes on the flatter part. Still more space for more cars. Lovely views and quiet in the evening. No facilities. Does get busy in the morning.

Good overnight spot, quiet and plenty of space. Right next to some well marked trails, which include the shores and waterfalls. More traffic come the morning

We planned to stay here but were put off by the below comment and stayed down the road. however we visited the next day and the below comment is incorrect. this spot is fine for staying overnight in a camper. there is a sign suggesting that tents go to an alternative free campsite, but that the alternative site is not suitable for motorhomes. this would be a level spot to stay right on the lake

We went here and there was a sign saying not suitable for motorhomes so assumed that meant small vans. it mentioned a free campsite just up the road at the end of the loch. free toilets and an outdoor sink. good intentions by the nature park or whoever put it there, but oh my word, I have never seen midges like it in my life! swarming. after an hour there we abandoned shop and went to the coast.

Very peaceful night well away from the road. NB toilets are currently closed until further notice.

Stayed here on a Sunday night and had the place to ourselves, backed up to the Loch. No bins or services but was perfect to do the trails first thing. Quality view as well.

Great place to stay. pretty level and quiet during the night. walkers use this place so be considerate when parking. we stayed the night with 5 other motorhomes.

We stayed mid September and weren’t bothered by any midges at all as mentioned in other reviews. Nice quiet spot right on the Loch with lovely views, good level ground and had a nice woodland walk nearby. We enjoyed our stay here!

Parking très interessant de la journée pour faire les randonnées mais beaucoup trop de mouchettes que pour y rester la nuit.

Des colonies de midges ce soir, fuyons...

Midgeland. Mais elles disposent d’une jolie vue.se calfeutrer tôt.
