Great spot. Yes some of it slopes and you can hear the church bells though they didn’t bother me. Quite noisy (Friday night in Feb) until the Co-Op closes and a bit later but only kids being loud. Other than that it’s a great spot. Don’t forget to pay for parking in the morning from 8am onwards.

Great find. Overnight allowed. Beautiful town. Shop next door. No height limits. Excellent.

only down side is the sloping. quiet after 10pm, when the coop closes. toilets were spacious, and seemed really well looked after. town is gorgeous, and so are nearby hills. would definitely recommend it as a couple of nights stay or just a passing visit.

I've stopped here many times now. it just a beautiful little town. lovely to look round, lovely people and great mountain bike trails. always a few vsbs here, there are 4 car parks all in the center all ok to overnight. there's a lot of towns need to take church stretton as an example of the trade that mohos and campers bring.

Stayed here for a midweek overnight, so I could ride The Burway in the morning. Very quiet and has decent toilet facilities. Even got some cheap snacks being sold off in the Co-op. Great access to the town.

  • 5/5

Useful park-up with daytime toilets & bins all for £4.80. Shops & pubs are close at hand. Also a good central point for walks over local hills.

Merci à la ville d’accepter les CC. Très belle petit ville à visiter. Bonne balade dans les collines alentours. Grand parking face à un petit supermarché. Silencieux un vendredi soir. Wc à disposition et poubelles. Au top.

There are 4 separate car parks all next to each other. 2 are very small. Be warned - NONE are level. Everything is on a slope. Church bell rings every 15 minutes. Good EE and Vodafone signal. Very welcoming and beautiful village which you are in the centre. You are a few minutes walk from the national park / hiking trails.

what a lovely place for walkers loads of routes straight from the car park. We had two nights which were very quiet. Two pubs very close, restaurants and fish and chip shop also. who wants to £35.00 pound a night in the camp site.

We stay here when trail running in the area, lovely quiet car park and coop right next to it, we always arrive in the evening and leave first thing so never used the toilets. Church stretton is a lovely friendly village and it’s nice to have vans welcome overnight. The coop deliveries in the morning (around 6:30) will be your alarm clock if you need to be u and about early.

We parked here for the first time last night. Plenty of space and had a very quite night. Would stay here again

We stayed a Sat & Sun night in February, on the Sunday we were the only vehicle on the car park! We had 2 peaceful nights. Toilets on the car park open in the day & a disabled one 24hr if you have a key. Would highly recommend the Indian restaurant around the corner called Jaipur. Food was amazing & you take your own booze. Long Mynd is a great walk to do nearby.

As described, a little gem of a spot to overnight stay with public toilets close by, a co-op 10m away and a pleasant little village to wander around. Free overnight, £4.80 all day parking 8am-6pm, free on Sundays. It's not a place with a view but a lovely change to have somewhere that accepts vans.

very peaceful Sunday night park up, local Thai restaurant in evening and breakfast at Heather & Batch in the morning. thanks to the people of Church Stretton for being welcoming to campervans etc.

Fab place walkers. Can hear trains at station. Park at the corner, (local recommended), as protected from wind. Useful advice with 49mph gusts coming down the valley. Used a ramp on one corner as it is on a slight slope, stayed two nights, and will return. Public toilets available during the day. Kings Arms is a friendly pub nearby, as the whole area is. Highly recommend.

Four parking areas. We parked behind fish & chip shop next to barrier as it seemed flat. Church bell rings every 15 mins day and night, so not for light sleepers. Ideal spot for walkers, good walks in every direction, maps available from tourist information, ( in library) behind church. Nice town. Free overnight, £4 all day.

  • 4/5

Public parking. No overnight charge. No charge Sunday’s or bank holidays. We arrived just before 2 on Saturday and left midday. Cost £2.50. No issues. Once the pubs had empty no noise and the voices that could be heard early on were not intrusive. Parked in corner. Not too uneven. Lovely town. Nice walks easily accessible. Watched rugby in Kings Arms. Staff there were great.

We stayed on a Sunday night, car park was very quiet and we had an un disturbed sleep. Overnight is free but they do charge in the day mon-sat 8-6

Quiet once the Coop closes... Stopped on a Thursday night, dinner at the King's Arms, breakfast next morning in the little town. Good for a single night.

  • 5/5

Safe place to stop overnight, Toilets on-site & Co-Op over the road very handy, lovely village with loads of walks to keep you busy, no charge after 6pm, no charge during the day at the moment due to Coronavirus.

  • 4/5

Great spot with access to toilets during the day or overnight if disabled with an access key. Is on a slight slope.

Look for Easthope Road rather than Queens Court
