Extremely difficult this winter to park here as the environment agency has banked the shingle up close to the road but there is still room as long as you don't mind being close to the road. Bad storms have eroded the shingle so it is tight.

A wonderful view from your motorhome! We only had lunch there and took a nap but it was great. I would not recommend to spend the night because of the road very close.

    Überall „Camping Verboten“ Schilder!

After 4 years of looking for good park ups found the best one yet !!!! just don't get stuck in the stones

Council and locals are trying to discourage people from using this beach. Signs up everywhere about overnight parking, but the beach is privately owned so not sure how they can enforce it.

I’m a bit confused as to why people are leaving great reviews for this spot for overnight stays, when according to other reviews overnight parking is clearly prohibited and a £500 fine possible. Why are people encouraging others to break the law!!! We are looking for places to stay overnight but would like to do it legally. Is it really so hard to obey the law rather than put our own wants first.

Fantastic and peaceful apparently there’s an ongoing council issue but we and others wasn’t bothered stones are banked up take care or you will get stuck

Its a nice spot, traffic is close but not too loud.

  • 5/5

Top spot - just don’t park on the double yellows on the stones. Lovely waking up next to the sea! Trainline nearby and cars sometimes speed past but generally pretty quiet

Avoid for now until issue sorted. £500 fine from yet another anti van council. They’re serious about it too, trying to make it impossible to park on the beach

  • 5/5

Lovely spot. only parked up to cook lunch and walk on beach so not sure if you can stay over night or not.

  • 4/5

    Just great

  • 3/5

Stones very loose- risk of getting stuck. No overnight parking- sign saying fine of £500. However is nice to be able to park close to the sea and sit alongside.

Direkt am Beach - ohne WC - aber dafür direkt am Strand.

Road is on the beach line, but has double yellows so can’t park on the road. Also not wide enough for two vans to pass without putting wheels in the beach. Parking on the beach stones is a bit perilous, as they have mounded and move under tyres. Really easy to get stuck or just throw stones around. Not great... avoid if poss. Better options in Bexhill or Pevensey.

Very nice spot watch out the gravel can be very soft and you will sink so stay close to road with driving wheels and pos tow rope and ask some nice person to give you a pull as it happens now and then

Lots of other cars and motorhomes. just by the beach.
