Free. Clean vault Toilets. If the campsites are full, there are some gravel parking spots to pull off of for a night. I did so in a full size sedan to car camp and wasn't bothered. Quiet.

Free! Camped in a converted school bus with no trouble getting in and out. Clean campground with vault toilets. No hook ups. We went early November and found plenty of vacancies. Multiple hiking trails in driving distance.

Absolutely everyone must know about this free place, so get there early if you want one of the only 10 marked sites. The sites were full by 6pm on a Thursday and tons more RV’s and cars tried to find a spot without luck after dark. I’m not sure if its always so busy or just busy around the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta dates.
