This is a great spot. The area is massive … although the ground is very undulating…. Or huge potholes ! I stayed Friday night, and yes, there was some coming and going of other vehicles, it wasn’t a disturbance. Plenty of activity on Saturday morning ( not early ) as the pleasure seekers arrived with boats, boards and bikes. Would recommend!

Excellent spot. No amenities but otherwise fine. Plenty of room although the ground is pitted so takes some time to get level. Good dog walks, nice views across the tidal Thames when the tide is in and views of the wading birds when the tide is out. Short drive to Leigh-on-Sea which has nice pubs and restaurants (in-fact that’s all there is there).

lovely place close to the sea perfect go weekend away when you want just to relax and have plenty walk with the dog (if you don't get lost)

Good view of the town and sea/ pier at night time. Other vans parked up but soon left so there were only 2 of us. Noisy until 2am with folks blasting drum and bass and engine rev galore. Don’t leave anything out if you don’t want fantastic mr fox lurking around - woke up to a painting class just next to us no idea if it’s a weekly thing but all friendly people. Might stay again - if In the area.

Beautiful views parked in gravel side of car park with side door towards Southend pier. There is a coastal walk path about 100 yds back up road you come in on. Once shades were closed on passenger side you would be mistaken for thinking we were the only ones there Arrived Monday 6pm left around 9am Tuesday no issues very quiet. No height restrictions as our van is 2.5m high and parking is free.

very nice quiet place close to the beach. remember to take your litter with you

Jan 2022 - Beautiful views and lovely walks, but there were doggers from 6pm until the early hours. Such a shame as otherwise it’s such a perfect place to park up

I parked here at bonfire night probably a bad idea but nice view of the fireworks until young people started setting them off in the car park next to the campers. they stayed until around 2am. but the location really is magical, to see the tide come up so close, fed the friendly fox who hung outside my door for a while. and watched the water rats. please keep the area clean.

Can be noisy on a Fri & Sat nights, best to go mid week. Vans park right at the very end on the dirt lay-by area, separate from the tarmac car park. Resident fox always pops up to say hello and look for food scraps. Beautiful peaceful area, great for dog walks, kayak and paddle boarding. Fresh water tap over by the green shipping container. Area is manned by foreshore officer 10am-6pm.

Stay away if you’ve got small kids, just a dogging site full of pervs slow driving past you all night!! Ended up driving back to London at 2 in the morning due to not feeling safe

So if u don't own a motorboat this is not the parkup for you . And what's SSSSI So there's basically no parking as yet on Two Tree Island. Actually I've been there many times albeit without a van and sure there are many places if you are descreet. It's practically deserted.

Stayed 24hours (about 3pm - 3pm). Close enough to bike into town, and down the road from a skatepark. No problems with staying over night, no signs to go against staying over night. Lots of vans there when turned up but were the only ones to stay over night. There is a resident fox who comes to all the vehicles wanting food. Lots of big potholes though, and the tide comes in scarily close. You can see right down the coast over Southend too. No height barriers.

We parked up in the corner of the car park by the shipping container and had no trouble at all. We stayed from 3pm-3pm the next day. Lots of great walks around the area and great views. It’s busy during the day with dog walkers and There were a few cars that pulled up in the main car park throughout the night but didn’t bother us as we were in the separate bit (with all the pot holes right by the marshes) would definitely recommend this spot.

I've stayed overnight a couple of times and had no problem. There is a fresh water tap next to the container by the slipway. Lovely for the dog as well. It's about a 30 minutes walk into Old Leigh which has some lovely old pubs and cafés.

Lovely park up place to stay

I stay down here most weekend in my self build camper without any problems you can park with out restrictions but to keep the council happy move your camper each day to a different spot and they won’t mind be aware the road is rough and bumpy and don’t stay in the 2 small car park before the end as the tends to be a dogging spot but at the end of the road is fine can get a few boy racer at weekend but I’ve never found it a problem and have always felt safe

I'm glad there is a comment here, I went down there for a recon, I spoke to a gentlemen who was there with his converted van, he said he'd been parking there on and off for ages, yes kids etc and fishermen. but it's a big hard standing and when I was there, I noticed three MH,s parked up. there is no amenities but I didn't see any meters, hope this helps.

Probably okay on weeknights but Friday night the local youths came to rev their loud cars and listen to music all night, then from 5:30 on the fishermen arrived. Great walks, great views.
