Emplacement parfait au milieu des moutons et des highland, silence assuré. Possibilité d’aller promener dans les parcages sur de grandes étendues. Idéal.

With a row of cars parked up by the entrance and a sharp right hand turn to the lane we missed it first time round coming down the hill. On second attempt could see it’s a good place to park, however we drove on up the road to park.

Absolutely brilliant spot, secluded and hidden from the road, amazing views of sunset and the stars on a clear night. Drive down the Sandy track to just before the gate.

Stayed last night - wonderful. Dark skies, not another soul in sight. The road is quiet as quiet can be. The footpath goes on for miles & is wonderful for walking the dogs (beware of sheep). Possibly our best overnight so far!! (8.5m moho)

Finden es super schön hier, brauchten nur leider stabiles Internet und mussten deshalb weiter.

Très chouette spot. Vu magnifique et nuit super calme. 0 passage. Réveil entouré des moutons. 0 midges la soirée mais pas mal au petit matin.

Beautiful views and off the main road. Great spot! Once sun had set the midgies did come out though so prepare to be eaten!

Très bon sport avec assez de place pour 3 vans Il y a une vue magnifique à 360 degrés et l’emplacement est assez éloignée de la route donc calme.

Ein sehr schöner und ruhiger Platz. Uneben aber mit zwei Keilen kann man super stehen. Eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Platz für 2-3 WoMos und seelenruhig.

The small parking area at the gate filled with water very quickly during the night when it started to rain & we had to move to the also small & very eneven parking area next to road

Wunderschöne Aussicht über die Berglandschaft. Sehr windig, dies hat aber den Vorteil, dass es keine Midgets gibt.

Amazing spot with fantastic views down the valley to Glenmuick. Very quiet road during the day and no cars after 8pm. Worth going down the track and parking by the gate. Space for about 3 vans, but we were the only ones there for two nights. Please don't leave trash, especially tissues. No phone signal on vodaphone or 3.

Only car there for the night, with the option also to stay in a smaller layby closer to the road. But in relfection driving the little way up this track yielded a very quiet night. few midges once the wind died down and the sun began to sink. No disturbances in the night at all. Beautiful views and bug free breakfast. Toilet located on the main road at the Post Office just outside Balmoral Castle

We didn’t stay in this exact spot as we had no signal on EE or 3 but instead drove back up the road to a lay by on the top of the moors with a great view and good phone signal. Very quiet throughout the night barely any cars drove by.

Very peaceful spot! There was a bit of a puddle but nothing too bad and the only cars that passed were some service vehicles going to work in the morning. Beautiful views

Very wet and puddly, but an extremely peaceful spot. Only a few estate vehicles pass to go through the gate.

Still big puddle of water. Stayed at the crossroads. Still incredible, couple passing cars, amazing stars!!

Really gorgeous scenery, right at the beginning of a great walk. Quiet. Night sky is absolutely incredible

I stayed here but i parked at back of passing place reserved for parking as the actual parking spot was full of water. This is an excellent spot for walking the moors with interesting things to see along the way and stunning views. peaceful night too.

Sehr angenehmer Ort zum Übernachten! Still und trotzdem nicht zu sehr abgelegen.

Es war sehr windig drumherum. Der Stellplatz liegt etwas geschützt und von der Straße entfernt. Super.

Wunderschöner Platz ! Standen 2 Nächte komplett alleine.
