very quiet on the night, Stay here sleeping on our Camper. very isolated, you need to have everything on your Camper, but in the night was amazing just earing the silence and the sounds off OUR Mother nature! thank you ICELAND!

passamos la noche aquí con una autocarabana, no es necesario 4x4. Dia muy ventoso, supongo que nos cubrio un poco las piedras de al lado, igualmente la autocarabana se movia mucho!. Habia otra camper tambien pasando la noche
furgolaublanco10/09/2023Fantástico lugar. Dormimos con una motorhome y logramos refugiarnos tras unas rocas y montañas. Llovió toda la noche pero apenas notamos el viento. Muy bien escondidos. Maravillosas vistas a las montañas de al lado. Recomendable 100%.

sitio apartado y tranquilo. Mucho espacio. Cierta proteccion al viento, pero la zona suele tener bastante, cuidado autocaravanas.

Très facilement accessible depuis la route 1, tout en étant assez bien isolé grâce aux multiples rochers. Belle vue sur le cirque.

Endroit calme et sympathique sans rien. Mais ATTENTION !!! Il y a des clous au sol ! Sur le côté droit de la petite placette . NAILS ON THE GROUND ON THE RIGHT SIDE

We spent a night here. Great place not far but hidden from road 1. We saw northern lights from here and beautiful night sky. Very strong wind we could not hide away from, we cooked in car because of wind. Nice moon landscape. One more camper was here with us.

Très bon emplacement, en recul par rapport à la route principale avec une vue magnifique sur les falaises et cascades ! Beaucoup de moucherons mais pas méchant !

Cerca de la carretera 1 pero no visible desde la misma, hay pequeñas montañas con las que te puedes cubrir. Muy tranquilo no necesario 4x4. Durante la tarde y la mañana muchos mosquitos inofensivos. Vimos auroras boreales

The place is on the other side of the road, there’s a gravel road to the rock, it is hard to miss. 4W not needed, however watch out for bigger stones

Very good place, not far from the road, accesible and in front of the mountain. I would recomend to stay here for the night.
paxanka04/08/2019Un lieu sympa dans un coin où il n'est pas facile de trouver où se poser. Nous nous sommes avancés (tout droit) pour être plus discrets mais le chemin est plus difficile d'accès à la fin.

It was fantastic, quiet, apart from the road and lot of place. It was a pity that there were quite lot of mosquitoes.
