Fab place for a kip overnight after a long drive up the M74! Off the main road, and good 4G on Vodafone

Great park up,loads of space for Motorhomes,had a great night sleep.A little road noise from traffic but nothing too bad. felt very safe as other motorhomes around so didn’t feel isolated,very happy here :-)

Stayed three nights, cleared off during the day to visit elsewhere. A few other vans overnight. No problems! Bins available. Quite a bit of road noise but I’m used to that.

Good for a night - lots of bays that could hold a few campers each. The 2 last ones near the North end have partial views of the lake. Road is lethal during summer so don't try to pop across for better views! Felt safe, loads of bins. Did a litter pick though as some waste around. Road noise not too bad. Does the job in a busy area.

Large spot next to the main road, but still quiet. We spent there one night.

no services, but a large layby above the main carriageway with a number of seperate bays that can fit 3 big campers each, totalling about 12 spaces, little road noise, no issues, had a quiet night .

Lots of road noise from cars and motorcycles until late. Also some local youngsters camping on the beach, who were making noises when coming and going to the car park all night. Didn’t feel very safe staying here as the only motorhome. Maybe I was just unlucky, but this was my worst night. Will not come back again.

Guter Platz für eine Nacht um sich vom fahren zu erholen. Straßenverkehr hat uns nicht gestört. Viele Mücken abends. Viel Platz für einige Vans/ Wohnmobile. Schlechter Empfang höchstens 3G.

Great to break a long journey up, passing cars most of the night but not constant. Undisturbed nights sleep

handy drop off for the night. Road noise is fine if you are tired of driving.

Very good spot for a one nighter. Fairly quiet after 10pm. Ideal when en route to Oban for a 7am ferry!

really nice spot for one night. just out of Luss. a little Road on the left that has spots for around 8 campervans. there were two others here with us. bit noisy in the morning, but nothing too bad.

I love this spot for a stopover it’s so tucked away off the main road, yes you do hear traffic noise but this quietens down as the evening draws on there are large bins along each part of the slipway third and fourth bays seem the most level but all great for a night

Great lay-by with lots of parking spaces and set away from road by bushes so lots of cover from main road. Some noise from road but I suspect this will change with the season. Bins but no toilets. If you head down to Firkin Point - about 6 mins drive away there are toilets there.

Set back from the road, lots of space for many vans, I was the only one here last night, clean, tidy, bins were checked by the ranger while I was there, no issues with being parked overnight.

Some noise due to road traffic, but perfect for a 1-night stay

Layby slightly off the road but you can still hear it, several little lay us with bins in them, sadly there was litter around. Great for an overnight stop.

Petit parking, plat, abrité de la route par des arbres, avec plage de galets. Superbe vue sur le Loch. Nous y avons passé une nuit, bien que la circulation diminue la nuit, nous l'avons quand même entendu. Pas de poubelle, donc chacun emporte ses déchets.

Nice little place if you need somewhere for the night. Estimate of about 7 camp a vans and more cars. Mid afternoon shade is lovely. Feels secluded despite the noise from the main road, ear plugs might be needed.

Road noise. Litter bins available. Parking bays surrounded by bushes sheltered felt private and safe. Free parking. Good place for an overnight stop.

I mean yer it's just a layby. but offers shelter from the road. passing cars can't see through the trees also bins are provided. it's on a busy road so some noise is expected handy stop off for someone. also was with two other campers so felt safe enough.

Stayed just for the night as had a long journey. got here at 9.30pm some road noise and lots of baby wipes about and litter . but will do for a night stay to continue my road trip
