Amazing spot. Lots of campers but all spaced out. Amazing views and very peaceful. We were lucky it wasn’t a windy night. What a glorious view of the sunset and sunrise. Definitely recommend this place.

  • 4/5

Very nice, felt safe, few other campers there. Extremely windy and potholie and a few suspect loud exhausts through the night but spot on otherwise.

  • 4/5

Great spot with superb views. Just need to be careful when arriving after dark as easy to miss turning and lots of deep puddles so just need to be a bit careful. If you do miss this spot then a little farther up the road there are plenty more suitable spots. Very quiet night. Just a few other vans arrived after us.

  • 4/5

only loses a point for lack of bins but we stayed here with a dog for one night and it was wonderful. very windy and exposed but beautiful scenery - woke up surrounded by sheep! nearby town Cleobury Mortimer has shops and a cafe which is yummy. Great for staying with a dog or without!

  • 4/5

Views: excellent. Parking places: plenty however needed to navigate a minefield of massive craters in the parking which had filled with water. Attempted to spend the night on 30-Sep-23 however due to the wind we moved on as the van was rocking for all the wrong reasons. I better weather this would be a good spot. Did notice along the main road the tell tale signs of Boy racers leaving mcds litter

Absolutely love the vibe up here! We unfortunately didn’t have time to stay over on this visit, but we’ll definitely be returning to do so. Great views and the car park is HUGE, so it’s not hard to find a space or a bit of privacy. Only downside is no facilities.

  • 5/5

Super Platz, ruhige Nacht, atemberaubender Ausblick Sehr empfehlenswert auch noch die straße bis zum Ende zu fahren. Kommen immer wieder gerne.

  • 5/5

This is an old Quary site with great views I love it up here nice quite place I've been here four times one of my favourite places

  • 4/5

Such a spectacular view! The carpark is absolutely massive, so there's plenty of space. I took a star off as it's pothole galore. There's sheep roaming around, so be aware if you have dogs. Would recommend!

  • 2/5

Lovely views. Car park has huge potholes i bottomed out heavily! Stay ruined by others blaring out music/revving engines/beeping horns and being a general pain all night long.

  • 5/5

so beautiful. its titterstone. lots of places park up

  • 5/5

Stayed on 01/06/23. Very peaceful night. exposed and windy. Few cars arrived for sunset but quiet all night after.

  • 5/5

Amazing! Beautiful, peaceful, lots of sheep roaming freely, beautiful stream. Will definitely return

  • 5/5

Stunning views from pretty much anywhere you park, some nice little corners to tuck in if you want. Very peaceful at night time, was maybe a couple of other vans sleeping up there too so feels safe. Just be clean/tidy, leave no trace, don't start any fires or be noisy and you'll be all good. No bins or facilities of any kind though, be aware. Take care on the car park though, very bumpy!

  • 5/5

Brilliant location, great views when the weather is right but the sunshine did bring out a fair amount of people as well to watch the sunset so carpark was very busy. Got there early to get a nice spot. Two other Van's stayed overnight. Felt safe and no issues with noise once sunset. Some sheep were a bit in your face but it is there home after all.

  • 3/5

stayed a few times, last time in 2020. The holes with water have become eroded. I would not take a motorhome here. Out transit custom bottomed out. Maybe more towards the summit better, however we arrived on the dark. Good night until 6.30 5 or 6 vehicles turned up, off for a walk, parked close...

  • 5/5

went there on 9th Jan. very windy day was easy to get to by using park nigh navigate.brill place camp weekend could even use a silent generator. carpark on top is very bumpy and very windy but next to radar .would deff be planning weekend around this area.few dog walkers and hikers but brill to camp for a night or 2.

  • 5/5

Amazing views and sunsets, lots of space. Can get super windy so be careful not to park too close to the edge as your vehicle will rock! Lots of curious sheep came to greet us at breakfast, stayed an extra night than we had intended because it was such a nice spot. Great signal too!

  • 5/5

5 stars for the amazing views and interesting history. I bumped into a local who told me that the whole hill used be an iron age fort surrounded by a stone wall. The wall is still visible on the opposite side from the quarries. Mining stopped in the 60s to prevent more damage to the history. The stone mined was a very hard, black stone, for more info search "Alf Jenkins Clee Hill". Now exploring!

  • 4/5

lovely spot with lovely views, we unfortunately turned up during a storm but still braved the night. you can find level spots if you drive around a bit. would return

  • 5/5

Went on a sunny day and you can see for miles. The sunset was beautiful and the same for the morning. Lovely peaceful place to sleep, will go again.

  • 4/5

a lovely stop at the top of the hill. There isn't much protection from the wind so I would avoid on blustery evenings. We were alone, apart from the grazing sheep. at the top for the evening. beautiful sun sets can be seen from up here. note - when using sat navs make sure you do not go on bitterly lane as this will not get you to the top and is a very narrow lane.

  • 4/5

At the height of a spell of beautiful weather we found a place like this will certainly be crowded at sunset. 20 minutes past and the spot was returned to just 3 camper vans....... Great. Our best spot for a full horizon sunset and sunrise. As ever, there is rubbish to be picked by those who care....

  • 5/5

Brilliant view, only me and one other camper there. beautiful and quiet, woken up by the sheep in the morning, felt very safe.

  • 4/5

stunning views, car park bit of a lucky dip with pot holes but had it all to ourselves. BEWARE sat nav took us up a different route . don't go for bitterly lane off the A4117

  • 5/5

What a gem amazing views many other vans there very clean please leave it this way will defo return

  • 5/5

Really nice place to park, there is set car parks, but could park anywhere as other campers where spread out, great views though my visit massive fog and couldn't see more than 10ft, though great nights sleep and very quite and peaceful. This is one place I will defcone again, can be busy in the day.

  • 5/5

The wind will rock you to sleep with Loverly views to wake up to,

  • 4/5

Beautiful location, great views and sunset, very peaceful. Signs say No Camping on route up. it was very windy and we woke up to fog.

  • 4/5

Loads of space, great view, very busy on a Sunday evening so found a more secluded spot rather than the view point. Very bumpy to the further out spaces.

  • 4/5

Great spot, really out of the way, only one other car when I got here but they left about 1am (no clue why!). Got a bit unlucky with the weather - it’s quite exposed and it was a very windy night, had hoped for a great view in the morning but it’s really foggy. Do be careful here as the edges are not fenced and there are steep drops. Would come back again if I was in the area.

  • 2/5

Sunday night bad weather. really busy with rude boys raving with glowsticks and playing loud music. I left at 11pm for somewhere else. ee signal terrible

  • 5/5

    Absolutely stunning. A must visit

  • 5/5

Great views and pretty quiet. road has been resurfaced and is no trouble, car park is riddled with potholes but easily navigable if you take your time.

  • 4/5

Lovely place . Good size to park up . The views are beautiful.you can hear the birds and the sheep.

  • 4/5

Beautiful views. lots of visitors enjoying the views but few stayed long. great overnight spot

  • 5/5

A great place to stay, very quiet.

  • 5/5

    Great views very quiet

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot with some amazing walks nearby. Very quiet with phenomenal views of the sun setting (if you’re lucky). Lots of places to park, most of them very flat.

  • 5/5

Nice spot, great views. very bumpy, be careful at night. 3 bar 4g with ee.

  • 5/5

A beautiful spot for the night. Really enjoyed exploring the area. The graffiti done in the old quarry buildings is a must see.

  • 5/5

Stunning views would highly recommend staying here lovely walks around the area especially if you walk to the top of the hill. The 360 degrees views are incredible:)

  • 5/5

This park up is outstanding. View's are unbelievable.

  • 5/5

Stayed here beginning of September on a Thursday, nice spot. There are teenagers in the late evening but no trouble, this may be worse on a weekend. Very bumpy getting on/off, but the views are 10/10

  • 5/5

Stunning views across the valley, interesting and challenging walks (easier ones too). Lots of people around in the early evening; all friendly.

  • 4/5

Fabulous views and location. No facilities but great walks and scrambling around the hill and to the summit. weather station, radars, old quarry and workings to look at ajouns Shropshire way walk. Ve careful parking near edge car park, steep drops and no lighting to see edge if you arrive in dark. Bumpy carpark road surface is a bit challenging on some motorhome chasis.

  • 5/5

Got here at midnight. completely empty. looked great under the light of the full moon. peaceful nights sleep. then woke up to the view. it's totally worth it

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night. Great views. there was 2 other campers as well. Be mindful you may have the odd car turn up later on for the views too. Great directions, we would definitely stay here again

  • 4/5

Amazing spot with stunning views across this beautiful county, Shropshire Way crosses over the top, exposed with no facilities and bit uneven in parts on access to some areas but would still highly recommend for a day and or night .

  • 4/5

Very pretty location large carpark reasonably quite apart from the odd car can get windy

  • 4/5

Great spot with amazing views! only downsides are the carpark is very bumpy and it was extremely windy when we went but still had a nice time!

  • 5/5

Great spot!!! Few others about stopping the night. Loads of space. Great place to walk and explore.

  • 5/5

Great veiws and good place to stay for night.plenty of room to park.

  • 5/5

I would not normally leave 5 stars for a spot with no bins toilets et cetera, but this has truly amazing views. If you walk round the hill you get them 360°. It is a large carpark mostly flat, a few puddles after rains. Firm and did I mention the views? Can’t believe there are more motorhomes here - only us tonight.
