excellent spot right on the shore...we are here on a Saturday night and have the place to ourselves...
Zone de stationnement en herbe, dur, à côté de la mer. Aucun service, juste la paix et la tranquillité. Véhicule occasionnel passant sur la route.
Hardened grass parking area next to the sea. No services, just peace and quiet. Occasional vehicle passing on the road.
Gras, harter Parkplatz am Meer, keine Dienstleistungen, nur Ruhe und Frieden. Gelegentlich vorbeifahrendes Fahrzeug auf der Straße.
Césped, parking duro junto al mar, sin servicios, solo paz y tranquilidad. Paso ocasional de vehículos en la carretera.

KendalPF08/07/2023Nice flat grassy area off the A747. Overlooks a rocky shoreline, Luce Bay and in the distance The Mull of Galloway. Not clear enough to see the Isle of Man when we stayed there but did get to see a lovely sunset. Good spot for one night….

This was our second stop, the most peaceful nights Kip ever, beautiful sunset, beach and sea behind given you an amazing view with back doors open. There is nothing else there so you have to be self sufficient. The best spot so far. Down side some people before us left rubbish so we picked it up, we will lose these spots if people don’t respect the area we have been given to rest our weary heads.

This is a lovely stopover especially in sunny weather which we had, very peaceful apart from the odd vehicle going by, Seaview is amazing with a couple of bins and a bench seat. pub up the road but maybe just to far to walk to !

Nice flat area, enough for 4ish campers. Road is very quiet at night, good sea views. perfect for an overnight stay but no walks or anything in the area.
drewbg29/10/2021Good spot as per previous comments just be aware that getting back off the hardened ground in wet weather is quite difficult due to the slope; we nearly didn’t make it although it had been raining for nearly a week so the ground was very waterlogged. Would stay again when next in the area.

Lovely spot with lovely views but did have a few lorries/tractors pass thru the night good for an overnight

This is a great spot very quite at night no beach just big stones stayed for 3 days fish and chip van in town looking out to sea go left £6 and was nice perfect place to chill
motorhom05/06/2019Suis arrivé à 18 heures et personne sur le parking qui est magnifique il n'y a pas de services mais comme le dit le commentaire une paix et peut passage sur la route qui est proche SVP respectons cet endroit qui en plus est gratuit chose qui n'est pas courante
