Spent New Years Eve here...very quiet, with 2 other vans. Only down side is 'no dogs' allowed in the reserve but, understandable with the sheep.. limited to walking on the road or there is a public footpath going down the hill. We stayed on the hard standing area (need chocks for the hill) as the farm entrance area was very muddy. Would definitely return.

Stayed in the off road (Badgers Farm entrance area) was a quiet night. Just a tip- if wet stay away from the fence- there no gravel there. Nearly got stuck trying to turn round. (Ducato) fantastic views and a compost loo!

  • 5/5

I arrived in the dark and couldn't find the 'off road' parking area; but, no matter, there's a large hardstanding area off of the road. Bit of a slope, but I made myself comfortable Woke this morning to sunshine and a spectacular view across the Lincolnshire Wolds. Toptastic place to pull over for the night. Ideal if you have dogs or want to walk across the beautiful Red Hill Nature Reserve.

My first night out in our campervan, this little gem was lovely, we felt safe, and the views were amazing. just two spaces and very tight entrance if you have anything bigger than a boxer van, we will definitely be going back.

  • 5/5

peaceful and lovely views. compostable toilet and a water tap. no bin. choice of 3 parking areas. could hear cadwell but not a problem for us. 1 public footpath for dog off lead and another in a field on lead. stayed 2 nights, first outside on the roadside parking, and the second inside the farm entrance.

Great park up for the night, the views are incredible. It was only us there for the night and we had no disturbance. A great view to wake up to but not many areas you can walk dogs as it is a nature reserve so be mindful of this if you’re planning on walking dogs around here.

  • 5/5

Amazing view. Quiet, except for the wind. Toilets clean. Tap can be found at second gate mounted on gate post on the right, bit hidden. Worth our while!

  • 5/5

nice and quiet but no water tap

  • 5/5

Absolutely beautiful peaceful spot with great views over the green rolling hills. Bit sloppy. Few walkers during the day and very quiet night. One van parked makes it perfect, two would be crowding ...

  • 2/5

Great view, excellent composting toilet. Not dog friendly, all foot paths say no dogs due to bird life I guess. Not a lot of off-grid or free water sources in this area.

  • 5/5

Great little spot. Nice an tucked away. Very quiet.

  • 5/5

Composting toilets, water tap, rural location on top of a hill, Spring weather, a few bars of 4G - what more do you want aside from a butler bringing you breakfast in bed?

  • 5/5

A lovely relaxing park up. beautiful views and really peaceful.

  • 4/5

We weren't sure when we arrived if we were at the right place as looked like a very small area. However, we got parked up ok, but on a bit of a slant. Gorgeous views, very peaceful, a brilliant clear night with no light pollution. No dogs allowed in the nature reserve.

  • 5/5

really nice quiet place to stay

  • 5/5

    lovely overnight stop, very quiet.

  • 5/5

An absolute gem, spent 2 nights here in a row, so peaceful and quiet, the self composting toilets are great (just take your own loo roll) respect the countryside and take your litter home

  • 4/5

Good spot. Nice views. Cadwell Park is nearby so noisy on a race day. Remember your own toilet roll for the composting loos.

  • 5/5

stopped here the other month for two nights. lovely spot. composting toilets are fantastic. someone mentioned a water tap behind hey field in there review but we couldn't find it. can't wait to stop here again tho

  • 5/5

Fantastic place! Space for about 3 campers inside the entrance to Badger Farm, a couple spaces opposite (on a slope), and a couple more 100 metres down the road. You can’t take a dog for a walk in 1 field, but other areas are fine. So quiet and peaceful.

  • 5/5

Hele rustige mooie plek. Wandelpaden zijn een beetje erg hoog begroeid dus loopt niet echt prettig. Mooie uitzichten en prima composttoilet. Er wordt gevraagd de vuilnisbak gelieve niet te gebruiken

  • 4/5

Prachtige omgeving! Wandelen of gewoon genieten van het uitzicht :)

  • 5/5

Nice quiet spot. few dog walkers in the morning but still so so quiet

  • 5/5

lovely spot. level parking, tucked out the way and quiet. no restrictions. could have stayed here forever. already looking forward to returning.

  • 5/5

What a beautiful place to stay the night so quiet I will be returning

  • 5/5

Stunning views! As others have said the best place to park is in the part across the road as it's flatter. Can fit 2/3 vehicles here depending on size. Compost toilets great. Amazing sunsets. If coming in a larger vehicle I'd recommend coming from the North side to avoid a steep 10% incline hill as there's a sharp bend and then you have to turn into the spot. Can get busy here.

  • 3/5

Nice spot, but if you have a dog you might want to give it a miss as dogs don't seem to be allowed anywhere

  • 4/5

If you park on the road it’s on a hill. Suggest you use the other bit “badger farm” it’s actually overflow area and flat (where green van is in one of the pictures). A local lady directed us up there and said people often stop over up on that side, and pointed us to compost loo and said there’s drinking water up the end of the hay field behind that carpark. No other vans there, no issues. Really nice views over Lincolnshire, and sunset pretty over the hills/Nature Reserve

  • 4/5

Nice and peaceful, having compostable toilets is a massive plus.

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night. Great spot with lovely view. Free compost toilets a bonus. Only space for 2-3 vans.

  • 5/5

Stayed 3 nights here, nice quiet spot close to Cadwell park which is now open for spectators (free on certain days), if you want to enjoy some motorbikes or cars.

  • 4/5

Lovely views and plenty of spaces for a few campers. I’ve arrived on a Sunday at 4pm and there are a few walkers and photographers here so it’s fairly busy. But it’s my favourite spot in Lincolnshire so far. Would recommend:)

  • 5/5

Fabulous park up. Quiet apart from birdsong. Ground not quite even but not a problem for us. Beautiful views to wake up to.

  • 2/5

Unfortunately, it looks like local youths have now discovered this spot. Disturbed twice by cars arriving and playing music between 7.30 and 9. Then when we were sleeping two cars arrived - potential dodgy deals. Felt unsafe so had to leave. Real pity as spot is beautiful and has toilets. Beautiful night sky and view. Still a nice place to stop for lunch.

  • 4/5

Good one to 2 night stopover, we parked in the farm entrance quite level, be wary going in with a long van due to slight uphill entrance, we made it with a touch of the towbar, 7.3 mtrs. toilet very handy, loo with a view

  • 4/5

Great location. Definitely need levelling unless you stay over the road near the farm entrance. The composting loos were a god send !

  • 5/5

Lovely spot, take binoculars of you want to spot the nature around . barn owls . compost loo .

  • 5/5

Brilliant little spot. Quiet, lovely walks and compost loo!

  • 5/5

Lovely little find this, beautiful scenery and really quiet! Nice places to walk too. Although there are a few no dog walking routes.

  • 4/5

Great spot for a quick stopover. Parking on a hill so need to level the van. compost toilets nearby :)
