There is something special about sleeping in the forest . The scent , the autumn mist hanging over the clearing when I woke ,The hooting owl . This spot is off the beaten track enough to feel relaxed without feeling too isolated..

Only van there last night, very busy during the day with mtb’s for the Viking trail, dog walkers and even horses so best arrive late.

Good stopover, would suggest u arrive early evening onwards, as it is in use during the day for dog walkers and cyclists. Especially good spot if u have a dog.

Not sure if GPS signal was slightly off or just me, the coordinates took me further down the road. Very nice little stop. Very good cycle and walking routes. We had two other motorhomes and a van parked for the night. Car park big enough to take more, although people do pop in to walk dogs, etc. Where we were parked there wasn't much phone signal, no internet.

I didn't stay in the car park, but there are many spaces for smaller vans that you can pull over on the side of this road. It was a nice stay - quiet and right on the forest.

No longer able to park here. Arrived to find large metal barrier and no parking sign.

Easy to locate using the app, quiet and tucked away surrounded by forest and foot paths. We were the only ones there.
