Fab place to spend two nights. Huge flat gravel area so lots of space for campers and dog walkers. Only one other van. Did the 7mile hike to the Lansdowne Monument that starts and ends from the picnic area. Only strange moment was a large group of runners who complained loudly outside our open door about how we 'probably have a flat screen TV in there but shower at their parents house..'!?

Relatively flat ground, good place to walk to Cherwell White Horse from. Lots of dog walkers during the day but none after it got dark. Far enough away from the road not to hear it inside the van. No facilities but no cost either.

Very busy during the day, settles down towards the evening. However we were disturbed by a car full of teenagers who were very loud, and throwing rubbish out of their car, so decided not to stay the night. Will return again some other time to try again.
