Awesome place to stop. Super friendly. Hot showers and toilet what more do you want!

  • 5/5

brilliant ,toilets showers perfect position fir coniston Village

  • 3/5

Place has a nice view but the price is £12.50 per person which has increased significantly.

  • 4/5

On y a passé 3 nuits: super endroit , près du centre de Coniston avec douches et toilettes , eau potable, bar…

  • 2/5

Far too expensive now (£12.50 PER PERSON - in freezing cold March!). Why does it matter how many people there are in a motorhome - we would not get out of it anyway so can't see what relevance it has. Stayed elsewhere in the town for free.

  • 4/5

Parked here for a day. £4.00, paid indoors at sports bar. Staff really friendly and offered good advice for walks. 5/10 minutes into Coniston and 1 hour to Hows which is worth the walk. Huge parking bays suitable for large Motorhome.

Used to be a great place to stop even though it's just a car park, sadly they have put their prices up this summer and no discounted rate for off season like last year. The price per person is now £12.50 for adults and £5 per children all year round. That's campsite prices with full facilities in the area. Plenty free pub stop over places to stop close by as well.

Spent one night here when I’m the area , nice flat carpark , hot showers and toilets open 24hr with code , bar open at certain times , little bit pricey at 12.50 per person

  • 5/5

Great set up Away from the road, toilet, hot showers bar, fresh water and a great base for The old man of caniston walk would definitely recommend. Thanks

  • 3/5

nous avons pas pu profiter des douches car c'est fermé le dimanche. cependant le lieu semble présenter tout les équipes indiqués.

  • 5/5

Agree with the last contributor. £12.50 per person is a bit much for the limited facilities. It's basically sports centre changing rooms with shower. Don't get me wrong it's a smashing spot. We climbed the Old Man of Coniston from this location.

  • 2/5

Stayed last night. It has gone up to £12.50 per person so now £25 which is a significant increase. Now seems to be getting expensive since this is for loo and communal shower without hook up, and with no facilities to top up so the water or empty waste. It’s now gone up to £7.50 pp out of season from £5.

Great little spot. Right in the centre of Coniston. Warm changing rooms and toilets. The social club opens in the evening, so you can have a couple of drinks too. Highly recommend. We paid £4 to park in the day, but didn't get this deducted from the cost to stay overnight that evening (£10) as one of the other comments suggests.

  • 5/5

We paid for a day's parking and at 7pm when bar opened we asked the owner if we could stay over night. He charged us £10 to stay over night but took the money off that we had already paid for parking. The owner also gave us full use of the toilets and showers and allowed for us to fill up our water tank.

stayed last night .very peaceful nights sleep . 5 mins walk to town. came back to watch football on the big screen ,lovely staff and delightful wine .

  • 5/5

Perfect place to park for the night, £10 per van per night. Friendly owners of the social club next door and great access to the local pubs.

  • 5/5

Great place to stay! We stayed for one night in the car with tent/gazebo next to it. Clean toilets and showers. Very friendly owner who runs the pub where u can have a beer and watch football on the big screen. Great location 10min walk to the city and lake. Would recommend to everyone! We paid £20 for two people.

  • 4/5

Great location just a stone’s throw from Coniston village so some good pubs on the doorstep in the evening for food and drinks. Great cycle routes close by accessed just down the road and close to the north shore and its little bays (we forgot our kayaks and regretted it!). Olly, who runs the centre, is really friendly and the showers/toilet facilities are open 24/7 and are both hot and clean. Recommended if you need to top up water and have a good shower!

Stayed here last night. Paid £4 for all day parking whilst I went for a walk up the Old Man. On arrival back at the van I spoke to the club owner and was charged another £5 to overnight in the car park so £9 per night in total. Very friendly owner will visit again.

Nice quiet carpark. arrived at 11pm. paid £4 for the club and all okay at the ticket said it would expire at midnight.

  • 5/5

Very handy spot on the edge of the village, much appreciated. Very friendly welcome. No EHU but use of the male & female changing rooms. To clarify the pricing, per person per night, is £5 between October half-term and Easter, otherwise £10.

  • 5/5

Fantastic location, only £10 per person per night. Fantastic views. Community hall staff could not be more helpful. Water facilities, clean showering facilities. Picnic benches outside comfortable and was allowed to charge laptop using outdoor plug.

  • 4/5

Looked on the site and the price seems to vary through the year . We arrived in September and were quoted £10pppn. Lovely place to park and handy for the town but we decided to go to the Coniston Hall site for an extra £2 as we thought it was worth it for the views and lakeside location.

  • 4/5

Stayed here with camper van for 1 night. £10 per person which is quite steep but they give you code for showers and toilets which are clean and tidy.

  • 4/5

We stayed for a couple of nights. Handy access for the village. Cost £10 per person per night with access code for sports changing rooms with toilets and showers.
