Parking at Ras Angela, the northernmost point in Africa. Beautiful place! The last bit is a dirt road but it was ok to drive on. There are two small shops at the main road if you need water, bread etc.

In January there are no shops or people here. If you drive a RV without 4x4 I recommend you to park in the trees if there is rain - it's very wet out here.

Great place to visit! If rain or wet dirt roads and you don't have 4x4 then park in the trees and walk the last part as you will get stuck otherwise. Beautiful place! overnight stays are prohibited and the national guard will come and wake you up and tell you to move into the city because of safety reasons.

Attempted to travel here, GPS took us on a dirt path. Unfortunately we were driving in the dark and rain so we ended up getting stuck in the mud and didn’t make it to the spot! Beware of GPS. Can’t comment on the spot but I’m sure it’s lovely!

We were sleeping and the National guard came to tell us it wasn’t safe to stay the night. The escorted us to safe place in front of the cemetery and next to a mosque which meant a wake up call at 5:30

We thought it was okay to stay the night until the National Guard came over and told us it wasn’t safe. We were moved close in the city by a mosque. We were woken up at 5:30 by the loud hailer calling people to pray.
