CAMPER PARK CÁCERES NATURE. Service area and overnight stay for motorhomes, caravans and campers in the middle of Vía de la Plata (motorway A-66), located in a unique environment close to Cáceres and National Park Monfragüe. It has 60m2 pitches, electricity, showers, washing machine, dryer, Wi-Fi, microwave, snack, food and drinks machine, petanque, picnic area, hiking trails, etc. Next to the swimming pools, restaurant, sports facilities and playpen. Petrol station, shops, bars and restaurants in the village. Reservations through the PVerde app.

In the heart of Montesinho Natural Park, and 10 minutes away from the city of Bragança, the camping site is located in a mountain highland, filled with chestnut trees, oak trees and cherry trees and in a place recognised as an ancient Roman settlement. The campsite has individual spaces, with abundant shadows, and it provides a bar and restaurant open all year, with delicious traditional meals, homemade soup and pizzas done every day. In permanent exhibition at the bar/restaurant the world´s largest pocketknife with more than 2 meters high, registered int the Guiness World Records Book (original certificate exposed). The campers have full access to barbecue facilities outside. The park also has a traditional wood-fired oven in which bread is baked once a week. It is possible to pick cherries in June and July, and mushrooms in May and June, inside and outside the park. Offering a fantastic landscape and night scenery, the park is also a few minutes away from various signalled trails. Operating since 1993, this is a very quiet and family-friendly park.

geoSpot: On the edge of our small quinta, we offer 3 motorhome pitches. The pitches are in a combined orchard of olive and orange trees and are quite flat. Suitable for the not very easy access road for motorhomes and campers up to a length of 6 meters. In the middle of nature, with the occasional tractor or other agricultural sounds. There are dogs (sometimes audible) in the area. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash for safety reasons. sheep, goats in the area. There is hunting in the area on Sunday mornings. At 4 km. is a small supermarket and a few cafes. Note: Google sends via a route that no longer exists. Look for the sign "Quinta dos sonhos" along the paved road and climb up there (short and steep slope). Then follow the road for about 700 meters, the camper place is on the bend. The stay is essentially free, any contribution to the upkeep of the quinta is welcome.
