No overnight parking is allowed at this site, next to a main road and quarry.
Nice little hide out in the trees, no height barrier or signs.
in the daytime quite noisy as there it a sand quary opposit and the lorries come in and out all day

Nice spot, car’s going past all night & busy with dog walkers in the morning.

Parfait pour une nuit nous nous sommes arrêtés un vendredi soir aucune activité sur la carrière a côté, calme et le matin à partir de 7.30 les gens viennent promener leurs chiens

Beautiful spot. will definitely be back. please keep it tidy. really popular with dog walkers, the ones we met were friendly.

Not fully level but nice quiet spot. A group of lads pulled in for 20 minutes, played some music then left. Lots of lorries driving past for the cemex plant in the morning but a lovely spot other than that.

Great quiet little stop over will use again, lots of dog walkers in the morning.. Not all level spots, easy to go for walks.

Good basic overnight parking spot with the added benefit of lovely woodland and heathland for an early morning walk. No height restrictions or time limits. We parked here on a bank holiday so the quarry was thankfully closed. The road is not busy but you can here the odd passing car but it's not loud enough to be an issue with sleeping.

Great little spot. Very quiet night, completely undisturbed. One or two dog walkers, but nothing more than that. Recommend this spot.

Stayed for one night no issues busy with dog walkers but they left us alone friendly lot to be faire. Cemex qurrey was shut as it was saturday afternoon that we rocked up still shut sunday morning great night sleep one other vw T5 turned up hour after us being there.

Lovely overnight stop off spot, with a great morning walk. No height restriction, and easy to get to. Right on the edge of a gorgeous woodland, perfect to take pooch for a run, hence it is popular with dog walkers. It is right near a road, but while we were there, we couldn't hear any passing vehicles.

Nothing like the comments before, maybe the site has degraded. Next to busy-ish road & cemex factory. Not much foliage around the car park in early spring.

Nice spot on the edge of some woods which are very popular with dog walkers and a short walk into town where there are a couple of dog friendly pubs. The spot is mostly used by people coming to walk their dogs so it can get busy on the weekend. No facilities nearby and it's not far off a road so there can be some noise from the cars going past but nothing that would keep you up. If you walk up into the woodland there's an open field near some Tumuli which is good for star gazing. Make sure you take a good torch if there's no moonlight as it gets very dark out there and the roads nearby don't have pavements or streetlights.

Nice spot, free National Trust car park that isn't monitored. Had no problem parking overnight but was quite busy with dog walkers come 9.30-10am. Still, a good spot for the night in a quiet, forest setting.

Nice quiet stopped for a little tea here, path would have been great for dogs lots of dog walkers but too rocky and steep for kids scooters and bike if that helps picture what it’s like.

Very quiet at night - 1 other camper. dog walkers during morning/day. great secluded spot for night.
