Parking next to Mt Leinster with a view on the lowland. Quiet and peaceful surrounded by nature. The Saturday I was there it was very windy and I had cars coming to drift around the parking until midnight but other than that, the sunrise was beautiful.

We arrived to a beautiful sunset at this remote spot. Unfortunately, around 10:30pm we were visited by agressive noisy boys spinning tires, revving engines, spraying gravel and waking our children. They shouted ‘no parking here’ while trying to scare us off. Very unpleasant little dicks but they left after 20 minutes or so. I would not recommend this for overnight.

Stayed on a Sunday night, end of September. Quiet all night and stunning views, but could see that it probably would be popular with late night visitors at peak times. No facilities so come prepared. Unfortunately there was a lot of rubbish, fly tipping and dog poo. We litter picked what we could carry. Nine Stones is just a few minutes drive away and there are lovely walks from the car park.
