Lovely overnight stop off, £2 for 24hours. Car park i've very quiet and sat away from a main road. 2.3m height restrictions. Stayed tonight in november and had no problems. Lovely walks around the country park and a cafe between the parking and the pond.

Great night here en route to Duxford from Cornwall; probably one of the best night’s sleep I’ve ever had! We walked around the lake in the morning and grabbed some chips and an ice cream. What’s not to love for £4.40 for a 24 hour stay?! The Hymer isn’t dirty by the way, just a dodgy picture!

Stopped here for the night on way back from Stock car racing in Norfolk on way home to Cornwall. Was getting a bit tired so found this spot, pulled in and paid for parking on my phone. Was quiet all night. Feeing a bit fresher hit the road again in the morning.

We stopped at Coate water country park late Friday evening 21/04/23, the overflow car park gates were locked shut and the main car park was brightly flood lit with some trucks parked up and a few cars cruising around flashing their lights. On a summer weekday this would probably be a peaceful place to stop but on a wet Friday night with cars coming and going we didn't stay.

Height restrictions of 2.1 meters… useless unless you are a small camper.

  • 3/5

Very busy by partying teenagers until midnight. After then calm. The toilets didn't flush and seemed to be cleaned about once weekly

Stayed here as a stop off on the way to Chessington, very quite and plenty of parking.

  • 5/5

Excellent stopover close to M4. £2 for overnight stay. toilets available during the day. very quiet mid week with no problems.

  • 4/5

Great place to stay but the height restriction is back in place again!

  • 4/5

Stayed for 1 night (020920) in small vw campervan tucked into a corner and no issues ... lovely walk and cycle around the water in the morning ... popular with dog walkers but we were not disturbed

  • 5/5

Lovely park up, gorgeous walks for the dog (and me!). Arrived at 2300, absolutely dead quiet, just a couple of other vans. Got busy around 0930, but still super quiet noise wise if you want a lay in.

Lovely area, was crazy busy when we arrived but it was bank holiday weekend. Got quiet around 9pm, but then the "youth" descended, must have been a party going on around the lake until about 5am, cars coming and going, music, loud voices. I'm sure it's a pleasant stay during the week however.

Height restriction of 2.3m shame as we really wanted to spend the day there tomorrow.

  • 1/5

We arrived on 14.8.20, the height barrier on the entry road was shut and padlocked, so sadly we were unable to enter, such a shame as the photos look lovely, was worth a try

Stayed here 20th and 25th July when traveling to and from Wales - quiet, no problems nice place to have a walk. No height barrier if you head to the end car park!

  • 5/5

Great overnight stop. a nice walk round the lake in the morning. In case you are wondering, the cafe opened at 10am on the day I was there. the car park was pretty quiet after 10pm and I got a good night's sleep

Too close to civilisation for my liking. Lots of coming and going throughout the (Friday) night. Dog walkers and fisherman arrive at first light. Very popular with locals.

  • 1/5

Height barrier now. 2.2m high limit.

  • 5/5

What a lovey site. It was indeed £2 for 24 hours down the end carpark for larger vehicles. We arrived just in time as there was an event showing next to the lake so we were surrounded within seconds, we had to find out what was going on - open air cinema night showing Bohemian Rhapsody what a bonus so had to be done. I would highly recommend this stop over but very popular as a dog event happened the next morning. Very quiet during the night.

Thank you for sharing. It is a lovely place to stop. It is safe and quiet. There are many activities to do ♥️

  • 5/5

Good place. The only problem is that it's not easy to get some water in the toilets and maybe it's not drinkable (this is hot water).

  • 5/5

Great location right next to a beautiful lake and a pub. Lovely and peaceful and toilets too.

  • 4/5

No bad for a night. A pleasent lake and flat parking. There were a couple of kids in cars with heavy throttle feet and a liking for a handbrake turn but these were all gone by 2100 and actually weren't a problem.

  • 5/5

This is park4night at its best! The 2.3m height barriers are open, but the rules next to the ticket machine say low vehicles only. But a staff member confirmed it was fine to stay overnight. Beautiful nature reserve. A great bargain for £2!

  • 5/5

An excellent safe place with plenty of early morning dog walkers! Highly recommended!

  • 5/5

A really good location and felt very safe ! Excellent !

  • 4/5

We stayed last night (6/2/19) great spot for walking dogs, really quiet, only £2. Not all the car park is flat, but we managed to find somewhere.
