Je n’ai pas d’expérience en Camping, c’est notre 1er voyage et 2ème camping donc je ne peux comparer qu’avec le camping où nous sommes resté 2 jours juste avant “celui de barragem de Odivelas”.. sur cette application ils ont la même note alors que ce n’est pas comparable. Le seul point positif que je vois se sont les toilettes et salle de bain qui sont propres. C pas très enfants friendly. Les próprio ne parlent pas portugais. Pas de jolie vu à part de la terre moches et des oliviers. On entend une route juste à côté. En gros pas de luxe.

Beau camping au milieu des oliviers et des chênes lièges, très bon accueil, très propre et bien organisé en période de COVID, seul bémols le bruit de la route.

Very nice camp site as an area, under the olive trees, clean facilities. There is river very close by if you are up for it but not really refreshing. There is non-stop noise from the highway and we learned while we were leaving, not enough water to fill up the tank. There is room for improvement.

We wanted somewhere quiet for a few days before heading to Lisbon on just our 2nd motorhome adventure. I found Camping Serro da Bica in ACSI app around 20k south of Ourique so easy drive from Alvor where we had been for a few days. So, we arrived 13th March for 4 days but very quickly the covid Pandemic really kicked in and ferries back to Jersey (home) were suspended. The site owners, Menno and Miranda from The Netherlands, had just 14 vans and caravans on site with many with no formal home to go to. They spoke to local authorities and agreed that we could all stay on site as long as we didn't venture out in our vehicles. The site is just off IC1 in the hills above Rover Mira. There are walks around the river, countryside and cola archeological sites. Nearest village in a couple of kilometres but only 60 people and no shops. Terrific for dogs which is great as we have our 2 with us. It has been surreal with sometimes a feeling of guilt as we have had such beautiful surroundings and wonderful hosts who could not have done more. They collect shopping lists twice a week and visit supermarket in Ourique for our supplies. Some of us have been working on site painting, installing new pizza oven and various others little projects that they had or their "to do" list. Friends now for life and eventhough some have now started to move on we will be here for a few more weeks. But, that's not really a hardship. If you're ever in the area look them up. Very clean facilities, grocery van visit on Thursdays, great dogs walks and swimming, yoga by the river weekly, site drinks (happy hour) at 5 on weekdays and a pizza oven. Finally, just another word for Menno and Miranda, fabulous people who restore some faith in humanity and could not have done more to make us feel welcome and safe.

Stayed 4 weeks January 2020. If you want peace and tranquility in beautiful surroundings with lovely hosts and first class facilities then this is for you. Lovely walking down to the river and around the hills. Will be back again.

Sehr sauber, sehr gepflegt. Allerdings durch die nahe Ic1 eine unruhige Nacht. Für uns leider nichts für Dauer. Die umgebende Natur ist sehr schön.

Superb!

Super lieu dans une belle campagne à recommander. Seulement, il y a un très peu d'ombre et en été avec des températures"classiques" de plus de 35 degrés ça pose quelques soucis. Les propriétaires interrogés ne veulent pas planter d'arbres car 8 mois par an les clients veulent du Soleil et les 4 autres mois de l'ombre ! De ce fait le terrain est quasiment vide fin juin dommage.

Dieser Platz ist super. Völlig unkompliziert, alles top sauber, derzeit fast freie Platzwahl. Wer gerne in der freien Natur steht, ohne einengende Bäume, Büsche, Zäune etc. ist hier richtig. es wirkt fast wie auf einer Hochebene. Einzelne Stellplätze haben auch Strom. Man kann sogar in dem im Fußnähe liegenden Fluß baden. Definitiv zu empfehlen.

Toller, empfehlenswerter Platz; freundliche Begrüßung und Einweisung. Brötchenservice, ...

Sehr guter Platz, hervorragendes Sanitär, man kann es ein Paar Tage aushalten, nur zu empfehlen.

Très joli camping, spacieux, à l'accueil très chaleureux et bien équipé ! Baignade dans la rivière en été (jolie balade, 5 mn à pied). On entend un peu la route au loin, mais l'arrêt en vaut vraiment la peine.

Camping qui s'inscrit dans le respect de l'environnement dans la tradition nordique. Essentiellement occupé par hollandais et allemands. Ambiance reposante. Sanitaires irréprochables. Par contre ne se situe pas à proximité immédiate de la rivière.

Leuke Camping, fijne paar nachten gehad. Aardige eigenaars, Menno en Miranda. Voorziening zijn goed, wel veel ijzer residu (roest) in het water. Mooie omgeving, goede wandel routes. Voor kleine campeerders: let even op de prijs; viel hoog uit.

Lovely place, one night is too short! Many travelers decide to stay for weeks or even months. Great hosts, clean and large facilities, nice spots for both campers and caravans. The owners are very much involved and during the week they host an happy hour starting at 5pm, drinks 1 euro. There’s a restaurant with local food nearby and a river you can walk along.

Supergezellig camperplaats en camping! Heel ruime plaatsen in een natuurlijke omgeving. Vriendelijke, behulpzame uitbaters Miranda en Menno. Rust, ruimte en ontspanning. Ideale vertrekplaats voor grote of kleine wandelingen of fietstochten. Inkopen kan je doen in Ourique (10km). Oh ja, elke avond bijpraten in de gezellige blokhut met andere kampeerders. Alles netjes verzorgd en proper! Een echte aanrader!
