Great parking out of the way for walks around rydal or grasmere in the day. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING ALLOWED! Carpark owners and several locals have lodged multiple complaints recently over people parking overnight!

Great for day parking or local walks/village access. No overnight parking allowed!! The house a hundred meters up the road and the landowners (lowther estates) have lodged a-lot of complaints recently about campers overnight and people using the local woods as a toilet!
Brilliant spot. No charge. I think the paid-for place comments are referring to is that the junction with the main road. The lat/long is a little further up. Very quiet and small. Good for transporter-sized vehicle.
Es gibt hier weder Kameras, noch kostet es irgendetwas hier zu übernachten. Einige Kommentare beziehen sich wohl auf einen anderen Parkplatz in der Nähe.
Went as the other comments said £8 all night, it was actually £2 an hour so would have been at least £20 for me to stay, avoid!!!
Lowther estates have now put number plate recognition cameras up in both top car parks.avoid
This is now part of white moss car park. Signs and cameras on entrance. The lower bigger car park is also now part of white moss.
Moved on by wardens.
As previous comment : the person there takes up almost all the space and it felt unsafe staying there.
Sadly a long-term caravan resident has moved in. Untidy and didn't feel safe. We didn't stay.
Quiet. Out of the way. Free. Lots of walks nearby.
