Beautiful spot with just stunning views

  • 3/5

  • 5/5

lovely view, pretty flat and quiet. Short but steep walk to town.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

lovely views across Hastings Bay. Castle on opposite hill. very peaceful nights sleep. little traffic on adjacent road. would recommend and return

  • 4/5

Definitely not great for wider vans I managed to pull up but was it close like 4 mill between cars to come up the hill !

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

parking is free after 6. quite a nice spot

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Great spot, visited smugglers adventure and Hastings castle with my 8 year old son, all just across the green from here. Quiet and relaxing, locals pleasant (I said hello first?) and a short walk into the centre, hard work back up the hill but helped us ?

  • 5/5

Great overnight spot, lovely views, very quiet and facilities from 7am. Highly recommend.

  • 5/5

Very quiet with amazing view. Must be visit this place. After 6pm to 9 am on the next day is free.

  • 4/5

Lovey spot to park for a spot of lunch, obviously on a hill so cooking was interest but all in all a lovely spot with gorgeous views and lovely people.

  • 5/5

Zeer rustige nacht gehad. Horeca was gesloten.

  • 5/5

great place to park with views of the sea and old town. loads of other campers. can park from 6pm till 9am but no attendants checking we stayed till 10am one morning no problem, might change in summer. narrow winding roads uphill to get there we struggled a bit with our Talbot but made it. beautiful place to stay will definitely come again.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, will definitely be returning, roads are steep to get there but personally wasn’t an issue for me at all. Lot of walkers as well but again, wasn’t an issue for me. Great recommendation!

  • 5/5

An excellent place to overnight with lovely view. 9am to 6pm you have to pay and there is a 4 hour limit. It is a bit tight getting up here because of cars parked either side of the road and a sharp turn, but because of that and being one way theres not much traffic and I managed it ok with my 21ft motorhome

  • 5/5

I got here just as it got dark and though if was a challenge getting up here with narrow steep roads it was worth it. A full moon shone all across the channel and I could see the Old Town all lit up beneath the hill top. Beautiful.

  • 5/5

    Excellent, nice and quiet

  • 5/5

Beautiful view! Free between 6pm and 9am and then £1.40 an hour payable by an app.

  • 5/5

What a great spot, I couldn’t believe my luck when I pulled up, brilliant view, toilets close, town is a 10 min walk (down a steep hill). It’s not completely flat and you can only park facing one way because of the one way system. The road leading up to it is very steep and narrow so you might need to do a Thoth we fought and revers in if you drive a tank

  • 3/5

Can't fault the sea views from atop the cliff and the narrow bending road leading up here was surprisingly okay after having read the reviews (for my T3 at least!). Downsides: there are quite a lot of benches around which attracted a small group of loud drinkers late at night - I was woken up a few times but maybe that's just my bad luck. Toilets open til 10pm but are down the bottom of the hill.

  • 5/5

Had the place to ourselves, arrived after 6pm, great views and quiet

  • 4/5

A lovely quiet but exposed spot. No traffic noise but I endured the howling wind & torrential rain instead. Larger / wider vehicles will struggle to get around the one way circuit. I saw someone performing an interesting little ‘cheat’. They stopped along Wellington Road at the exit of Castle Hill Road (by the ‘No Entry’ sign) and reversed down into position thereby avoiding the narrow one way circuit. I obviously cannot recommend an illegal manoeuvre (which should only be attempted if quiet & safe to do so!) but I thought it was interesting.

  • 5/5

Nice spot. Mostly quiet after midnight. Free until 9am but worth staying as easy access to the old town and sea front via the cliff railway or the path.

  • 5/5

Absolutely beautiful spot but like others have said DONT FOLLOW SATNAV as very tight come in from top of castle hill road off wellington road

  • 4/5

Lovely spot, BUT DON'T FOLLOW A SAT NAV! It will take you on Castle Hill Road, which is very narrow and one-way. Instead go a few metres further on to Wellington Road / Priory Road

  • 4/5

Beautiful view! We're a wider motorhome and the spaces are a little thin for our van but we're parked with no problems. It's quite a steep road up to the spot but it's a beautiful sea view when you're up here and there's a park on the opposite side of the road. Some of the road is a bit steep for sleeping depending on the direction of your bed, but there are flatter areas to choose. Feels safe!

  • 3/5

Endroit fabuleux calme tranquille vue à couper le souffle acces à Old Hasting à pied 10 min.

  • 4/5

Molt tranquil.

  • 4/5

Great view with and open park, there's a toilet that's open from 7am to 9pm. Would highly suggest this spot to anyone in the area. Best of all, it's free

  • 4/5
