Stayed last night although rainy and windy got a good rest. Wasn’t bothered by traffic and there’s portable toilets. There’s a warning not suitable for swimming but there were 3 local’s out in the cold weather.

Beautiful view and quiet little beach. Bins and portaloos available (2). Restaurant/bar at the end but we didn’t try. Pretty noisy due to being on the road although does quieten down at night. We had pretty wet and wild weather so did get a little battered but okay and safe for 1 night.

Large parking avec une super vue sur la plage et l'océan. Nous n'étions que deux vans à l'occuper. En effet, il y a eu du bruit toute la nuit avec le passage régulier des voitures, qui étaient même assez proches pour légèrement faire tanguer notre van au passage. Boules quies recommandées !

Great location right by the beach, lovely coastal view, with bins available. Seafood pub up just 100m away. The only reason it’s not a 5 is the fact it’s very close to the road, so lorry/vehicle noise is an issue if you’re a light sleeper. No experience of the grumpy local mentioned below, and in fact there were a few other camper vans there too! Decent stopover.

The local is still here harassing campers at 7am. Don't listen to a word he says. A white van will not take your vehicle registration, and you will not be held hostage at the ferry port until you pay €80. He's just a mad local angry at campervans. Road noise was a pain also, but ear plugs fixed that.

Lovely spot, stayed there last night after a meal in the pub beside the beach. Fab view to wake up to, however a bit loud with the traffic on the road, and had a local knocking on the van at 7am telling us and the other campers we should not park there - checked thoroughly after and no signs saying anything about any parking restrictions...

Je ne mets que 4 étoiles car beaucoup de bruit avec la route, prévoyez des boules quies, sinon superbe vue.

Good spot to camp by the ocean with beautiful views in the morning. The road behind was very loud throughout the night however and if large lorries passed the motorhome would shake. This did disturb sleep but was an ok stop for 1 night.

Easy parking, no facilities and road quiets down after 11. Lovely pub just up the road, only had drinks but the food looked great.

Almost nobody in April. Right on the ocean. Rubbish bins beside. Restaurant next door. Quite loud with the cars on the road but I think if you slept with earplugs it would probably be fine. The beach has a “no swimming” sign but lots of rocks to climb on so good option for kids.

une nuit passee en fourgon. parking en bord de route mais avec une belle vue sur la plage. un peu bruyant a cause des voitures qui passent mais nous avons passé une bonne nuit quand meme.

Personne en Avril. Parking gratuit ,vue magnifique sur la mer qui est au bord d'une plage. Route passante. Aucune services dans ce lieu.

Personne en Mars , vue incroyable au réveil, restaurant au bout du parking. Simplement pas de robinet et un peu de bruit avec les voitures pour les plus fragile mais pas plus dérangeant que ça.

Nice views definitely a little noisy and windy depending on conditions, overall can't complain, breakfast is ok in restaurant at the end of beach so nice option.

overnight Camping ist verboten. Vielleicht für Vans und Autos geeignet, für Camper leider nicht

Beautiful views on the beach front, however is next to the road so is very noisy. We were car camping so a little more incognito, but some local man was harassing the camper vans with nonsense about cameras and fines. It’s absolute nonsense, no signs stating anything of the sort, ignore him!

Busy with visitors and people at the beach. Cars passing late and early in the morning. But you can get an amazing view over the ocean. Its a nice spot for a free overnight stay and there were lots of other campers. The restaurant had a nice irish breakfast, although not very cheap.

Acceso directo a la playa i un pub muy acogedor al lado. Para pernocta desaconsejo por el ruido de la carretera i la velocidad de los coches. Hay mucho transito i ruido i esto le quita toda el encanto del lugar.

Schöner Platz mit direktem Strandzugang. Im Sommer bei gutem Wetter sehr gut besucht, sodass man mit einem großen Fahrzeug ggf. kurz auf einen freien Platz warten muss. Dies ist auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite am Straßenrand möglich. Zur Übernachtung vermutlich zu laut, da die Straße direkt an dem Fahrzeugen vorbeiführt. Für einen Zwischenstop am Tag super!

Stayed here after leaving Salthill where overnight parking is prohibited. The road is noisy but it quietens down considerably at night, leaving the sound of the waves. Beautiful view in the morning. Two other motorhomes also spent the night. Plenty of space.

belle vue et parking pratique et grand, mais très bruyant : jusqu'à tard le soir et a partir de très tôt le matin, la route est très passante. nous avons eu en plus un semi remorque qui a passé la nuit ici et dont le moteur s'allumait toute les heure ...dur.

Very nice spot to wake up too,right next to the beach with a pub next to it,but very close to a very busy road with passing cars and lorries all day and night,it quitened down during the night but was very busy again from 6am,it didn't bother me I still had a good sleep but if you are a light sleeper it might not be for you.

Un spot un peu bruyant mais pleins de place en bord de mer, et le restaurant pub juste à côté !

gratuito, con un ristorante/pub molto carino nelle vicinanze, vista mare. nessun servizio, ma per una sosta notturna davvero carino. un po' rumoroso se si ha il sonno leggero.

Vista molto carina sul mare. Totalmente gratuito. Unica nota, essendo sulla strada, si sentono passare molto le auto e per chi ha il sonno leggero potrebbe essere fastidioso. Ma la bellezza di svegliarsi a due metri dalla spiaggia per poter fare una passeggiata mattutina merita veramente!

Un bon endroit pour faire une halte , faire une petite balade sur la plage avec les enfants . un restaurant a proximité . un peu bruyant a cause de la route .

Ive slept here many times and the traffic noise never really bothered me, it's no louder than the trafic outside my apartment. Lovely little beach to wake up on. The road slopes at various points but you'll find a fairly flat surface at nighttime when it's quiet.

A beautiful spot but as already stated it is on quite a busy road. It did get quiet through the night time and nothing keep us awake! Flat and right near the beach and nice eatery.

Lovely beach view though the road is busy. We enjoyed a great dinner in the seafood pub nearby and ended up ringing them around 11pm to ask could we park up in their car park as it was extremely stormy on the shoreline. They were very welcoming. Some noisy cars and music until around 1pm but quiet after that

Lloc perfecte. he pasat la tarda al aparcament de la carretera davant el mar menjo al restaurant i demano per pasar , la nit al seu pàrquing , hi dormo una mica més allunyat dels sorolls de la carretera. ( hi ha poc trànsit entre les les 23 i les 7)

Parcheggio di fronte ad una bella spiaggia! La strada è trafficata, ma niente di peggio del traffico notturno sotto casa mia! Ottimo!

A very handy place for overnight stop as salthill was very busy. Its 7km from salthill. Sandy beach was perfect to walk on. Seafood restaurant at the end of road. A couple of mile towards salthill, there are very good carry out food places.

Von Galway aus schnell zu erreichen. Direkt an der Straße, damit etwas laut. Der Pub und das Restaurant sind nett, als wir da waren mit schöner live Musik.

We often park here when visiting Galway city, it's not very far. Fairly quiet until about 7.30 am. There's a pub that does pub grub at the end of the lovely beach. Lovely spot for sunsets over Galway Bay.
