(AB45 1GG) Banff - Quayside

Haben eine Nacht hier gestanden. Ein guter Platz für einen Zwischenstopp. Keine Beschilderung wegen irgendwelcher Einschränkungen. Polizei ist einigermale vorbeigefahren, Haben sich nicht für uns interessiert. Zufahrt bissel eng.

Great spot. Places are level, there are spotless toilets open during daytime close to it. You can choose place with view on the sea or sheltered from wind by seawall. City center is close, but uphill. Area is very calm all day long.

a great spot there was 8 here tonight the wind was blowing and vans was rocking but went for a walk allong the harbour then went to the Raiilway public house with over 100 scotch whiskys on sale at a very reasonable price and the locals where really friendly and made us really wellcome please use but also use the pubs and shops

Quiet night no boy/girl racers. The Railway pub a stagger away nice welcome from the owner and locals

Cracking spot right on seafront, bogs 1 min walk & super clean, 2 mins walk to small supermarket & shops, lovely & flat car park, the sea lulls u to sleep lovely, best of all it's free, defo come back, lev nowt behind

Nice & the wall kept the sea noise down a lot. Great walk & views all around. Harbour is lovely

A nice and quiet spot with plenty of wildlife to watch. Sadly our main reason for parking here (the nearby toilets) close at 1800 and reopen at 0800, and were not open all night as we had hoped. pitches are flat and relatively sheltered.

Ein schöner ruhiger Ort zum Übernachten. Einige Restaurants/Pubs und Supermarkt zu Fuß erreichbar. Augen offen halten, am Abend waren einige Delfine zu sehen!

Bel endroit plat avec vue sur mer. Toilettes propres ouvertes lundi au samedi 8h-18h. Trois autres endroits possibles (à 1 min de voiture) si on continue la route en s'éloignant de la ville, en laissant la mer à droite.

Lovely, peaceful parkup. Plenty of walks to do along the beach and into the little town where we found a unusual graveyard to explore... We were left alone and stayed for a few days enjoying this lovely little gem of a parkup...There are plenty of bins and the WiFi was good with EE and we had good O2 4G signal on our phones..Thank you..

Passing through so overnighted here for one night along with two other campers felt safe. Very quiet only sound wind and sea. Fabulous location, nice sea view dog walk along the coast and harbour etc. Toilets with hot water 2 mins walk away at the marina, one of the cleanest I've seen. Feels like a really welcoming place. Thank you Banff

stayed here for one night there was no one else here got very windy about 3am but felt safe

I can’t believe I neglected to leave a comment. I stayed here back in 2020 before the lockdown. It was then a wonderful overnight stay giving key codes for the toilets and shower. Then refurbishment happened and I later stayed further along the coast. Now it looks as if we are back to normal again. We’ll see.

Great free park up. Few spots along the harbour front so good option if one place is full. It was VERY windy and rainy but we had a lovely view of the sea. Public toilets were open when we tried, about 9:30am.

Toilets now open including disabled ones literally just round the corner towards the harbour found the town a bit run down but the beach is huge and not too far a walk. Local Tesco and local morrisons both In town

Very nice free parking lot - flat, has beautiful sea views and 5 min walk to the village and Castle Hill. Very quiet. Good phone signal.

I spent a quiet night, public toilets are not open yet. We were 3 campervans here tonight. This seaside parking lot could accomodate about 10 altogether. There is a nice little pub uphill within walking distance.

Nice sea view but toilets closed off by metal fencing so didn’t stay overnight.

4 vans here tonight. Made a good decision parking in the corner, away from road. road being used as a boy racer, race track. woken up by engines reving and thumping music.

This car park is open again. We stopped here for a break this morning. All back to normal. One of our favourite places as it is right beside the sea and also an easy walk in to town

Hi every one out on the road now ,just a heads up here in Banff , I live along this rd in Scotstown ,just to inform u the harbour car r park which has fantastic settings is blocked off ,because theyRe rebuilding the harbour wall ,also the next car park along has builders leaving their equipment due to house building ,and the their car park is just the same. on the Sandy beach ,so lucky to have 3 car parks in a dead end road however ,please be mindful that lots of locals come here ,and I mean lots ,at week end mostly to walk their dogs and swim and walk.there are also lots of pull in on this beautiful road ,however please do be mindful ,on the side of the turf ,I witnessed for 2 yrs ,on same area of verge ,2. ,campervans a tent a wind Breaker and think a motor r bike here for 3/4 nights all together ,locals just walked by feet from them ,think that’s out ,I waswhat I call over doing it ..u know who I are .however in that same description the tourist board are now promoting the NW250 ,so it’s swings and roundabouts ,I love it when u all call in at Banff ,think I’m going to stick to my camper van over looking ocean for now to see how the traffic goes ,hope this helps ,if u need help u will see an old camper van along the cottages if u need any tips ,thank you

Stayed on a very wet windy Saturday night. Only one other Motorhome no disturbance. Very flat block paved with drains, Clean and puddle free underfoot.

Would have been a lovely stopover. Spoilt by groups of young men reving their cars and playing music until 2 am. Avoid weekends!

Lovely quiet night with view of sea. 3 other campervans and us so not busy but just right. Few locals bringing their fish and chips to watch the sunset which was nice.

Las duchas siguen siendo gratuitas el código (2468Z), tanto de hombre como de mujer. Los baños y las duchas están muy limpias y esperemos que la gente siga siendo respetuosa con este lugar para que todos podamos disfrutar de este servicio gratuito.Las noches de los fines de semana se suele hacer botellón en el parking, hemos dormido a ratos.

Lovely location. Gorgeous views. Railway inn up the road do a decent pint, nice selection of gins. very friendly. Tesco down the road. Plenty of takeaways. Shower and Toilets immaculate. Brilliant one night

Au top ! les codes donnés dans les commentaires sont toujours bon le 1er janvier 2020 ! Il y a un robinet d'eau potable à l'extérieur, avec un tuyau, dans le mur en dessous, mais le débit n'est pas très rapide.

Perhaps the best stop on this stretch of coastline. Great award winning toilets. Lovely outlook and handy for exploring the town.

Nuit très calme, face à la mer. Les sanitaires (toilette et douche) au port étaient parfaites. Mention spéciale pour le chinois à emporter du centre ville (Happy Palace), pas cher et portion généreuse.

Very nice and calm place, toilets and showers in harbour facilities, for entrance code call the phone or try 7053Y for entrance and 2468Z for showers.

Nuit très calme même si c'est un samedi soir, beaucoup de passages de voitures «bruyantes», un samedi soir calme à partir de 22h30, attention les toilettes du port sont accessibles avec un code maintenant

Jolie vue sur la mer et des toilettes super propres. (interdit d'y vider les eaux noires) avec eau chaude et savon fourni. Merci la commune pour la nuit très calme. A quelques centaines de mètres sur la gauche, un revendeur Flogaz en direction de Macduff.
