Kikmore Quay Camping and Holiday Park, dieser Campingplatz wurde gerade eröffnet. Neue Sanitäranlagen, gut gestaltet, Plattform für Dienstleistungen sehr funktionsfähig. Hat 2 Waschmaschinen und zwei Trockner. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kleiner Supermarkt 10 Meter entfernt. In der Nähe des Hafens und Restaurants.

Basic stopover, not very welcoming, didn't explain any of the facilities. Had to ask a fellow camper as to where the waste disposal was. €30 a night with electric. Showers were €1 for 2 mins 30 secs. Water took easily a minute to heat up. Very dark at night. Not well lit up at all. Lots and lots of signage telling you what not to do which is very off-putting. Probably wouldn't stay again.
Perfekte Lage, ordentlich/sauber. Wir haben 30€ für einen Van mit Strom gezahlt (nur Barzahlung). Wahrscheinlich nichts besonderes aber uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Duschen kosten 1€= 2,5 Min.
Für uns genau das Richtige nach der Fährübersetzung. Kommunikation via Facebook Messanger lief gut. Eine späte Anreise war kein Problem. Der Platz ist eher eine große flache Wiese, ohne besondere Aussicht. Dafür sind die Waschräume sehr sauber. Duschen kostet extra. Vom Platz aus ist ein schöner langer Sandstrand in 1 Minute zu erreichen. Als Dachzeltcamper mit 2 Personen haben wir 25€ bezahlt.
Distinctly average. it's a flat featureless field with no views. Charging 2 euro for a shower seems a bit tight considering it's 40 euro for a pitch with 2 adults and 2 kids. Alright for a stop if your on the way to roslare but much nicer campsites in this part of Ireland.

Campingplatz okay, aber nichts besonderes. Finde es immer schlecht, wenn man für das Duschen noch extra zahlen muss. System der Mülltrennung sehr unübersichtlich. Keine Kartenzahlung in heutiger Zeit auch nicht okay.
Blick auf das Meer, saubere Sanitäranlagen, Schranke bei Einfahrt, freundlicher Empfang, Bezahlung nur mit Bargeld. Wir bezahlten 30€/Nacht, für Womo, 2 Personen, incl. Strom. Wasserhahn am Stellplatz. Einkaufsmöglichkeit und Restaurants, Pubs in der Næhe....zu Fuß erreichbar. Dusche extra mit 1 oder 2€ Münzen (2,5 min oder 5min)
First impressions maybe a little underwhelming but it gets better. Two fields one with gravel pitches and one open grass. Showers a bit dated but pretty clean and hot (timer seemed optimistic).Spar shop next door. Good location 30 mins from ferry and Kilmore Quay interesting with fishing port, walk along beach and back alongside dunes. Grounded cafe great.
Paid €30 for 1 adult, 1 night with EHU. Made to feel bad because I didn't have cash & would have preferred to pay by card. EHU consisted of plugging into a splitter, connected to several leads laid in the grass plugged together to reach a fuse box a distance away. Other than that, it's a nice enough site, in a lovely location with fabulous sea views, beaches and an excellent local takeaway.

Wij verbleven hier enkele nachten omdat we een aantal dagen naar Saltee Island wilden. Wat een fantastisch vogel broedeiland. Leuk stadje met leuke pub. Campeerplaats is goed gelegen met winlkel vlakbij. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Enig minpuntje: douches kosten 2EUR voor 4 minuten maar de automaat staat buiten de cabine waardoor je al snel een minuut verloren hebt...
Large, quiet site with good, clean facilities block. Warm welcome. Lovely town and harbour. €25 + €5 for electric and €2 for a shower. Only 25 minutes from Rosslare.

Wir hatten einen Platz im vorderen Bereich beim Sanitätshaus (Womo, 2 Personen, Stromanschluss für 30,--€/eine Übernachtung), schöne ruhige Lage, kurzer Weg zum langen Strand, nebenan ist ein gut sortierter Supermarkt.
Schöner Stellplatz mit kurzem weg zum Strand und in den Ort, sauberes Servicehaus. Hinter einem Recht kleinen Bereich mit etwa 20-30 Plätzen rund um das Servicehaus gibt es noch eine sehr große Wiese. Im hübschen Dorf gibt es mehrere Pubs und Restaurants und einen netten kleinen Hafen.
Ein großer Platz ohne Schatten (das ist in Irland kein Problem!) mit sehr sauberen sanitären Einrichtungen. Zu Fuß ist man in 6 Minuten am Steilufer zum Sandstrand, mit dem Fahrrad im bezaubernden kleinen Ort Kilmore Quay mit Pubs, Restaurants uvm. Wir hatten sogar Meerblick.
Accueil froid limite désagréable. Zéro information. Douches hors de prix et sans intimité. Espèces uniquement sans factures.
Fijne plek om de vakantie vanaf te beginnen of eindigen. 25 min van de ferry. Leuke eigenaar en ontvangst. Altijd plek en vooraf bellen is handig. Zit een winkeltje naast voor je eerste ontbijt en koffie/thee in Ierland. Achter het veld is een pub. Aanrader wat ons betreft.
Vriendelijke camping met leuke hostess, in een klein dorpje waar alles op loopafstand te vinden is. supermarkt met ruime openingstijden naast de camping. enige nadeel is douchen voor 2 euro voor 4 minuten waarbij de tijd doorloopt. verder alles superschoon! je kan hier wassen, afwassen, vuil en schoon water. pub en strand om de hoek. we zijn hier speciaal voor teruggekomen op de terugweg.
Simpele maar hele fijne camping. We hebben hier 1 nacht gestaan toen we in Ierland aankwamen en 2 nachten voor we weer terug gingen. Wasmachines en drogers aanwezig. Kleine maar gezellige plaats aan de zee. Superleuke pub met zalige steak op 5 minuten afstand.

we received a warm welcome from Alice, she also gave us plenty of tips on where to eat etc... The site is well laid out, it was ideal for us, very quiet without any noise at night. A good night's sleep for all of us. The toilets and showers are spotless. It's within walking distance to the vilage and beaches. we'll definitely be back.
Very good location a bit busy when we were here . Campers were close to each other and kept tripping the electric. Just a note cash only and shop won't give cashback unless you spend 10 euros.
Sehr gut angelegter Campingplatz mit allen was man benötigt. Einkaufen gleich neben dem Eingang. Strand und Restaurants nur 3 Minuten entfernt. Nur 25 Minuten von Rosslare entfernt.
Nur eine riesige Wiese mit Stellplätzen, nicht angepflanzt oder irgendwie angelegt, dafür auch recht teuer. Aber ist wenigstens sanitär sauber
Sehr gut gelegen für die Tour zu Saltee Island. Der Platz ist mittlerweile riesig. Ich schätze genügend Platz für mindestens 60 Wohnmobile. Die "Stadt" ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Ein sehr schöner Strand ist sehr nah. Hier oben geht ein ganz schönes Lüftchen.
Toller Campingplatz, ist zwar nicht der günstigste aber wir kommen wieder :)

Un bonito lugar y tranquilo. 33€ día con electricidad, considero excesivo. Solo hay 3 duchas y son de pago. tres WC y 4 lavabos. Contamos más de 100 ACs. Pocos servicios incluidos en el precio tan elevado. Ideal para la primera noche al desembarcar.

Man steht frei auf einer Wiese oder vorne auf Kiesplätzen mit Wiese. Es ist ein sehr großer Platz, Privatsphäre gibt’s also eher weniger auch weil es wirklich keinen einzigen Baum oder Busch gibt. Schöner Strand direkt gegenüber.
grand camping, très bien. 23€ par jour électricité 5€. douche 2€ pour 4 mn. machine à laver ou sèche linge 4€. on peut acheter des homards à 10€ pièce (700g environ) à la descente du bateau au port, mais il faut y être au bon moment ! excellent fish and ship sur le port. SEA FOOD FESTIVAL du 7 au 10 juillet 2022.

Great campsite, close to everything and very clean facilities.
Very disappointing. There must have been 70 campervans here this weekend and toilets/showers/washing facilities were closed. I asked why and was told its because of Covid. Many other campsites have at least toilets open. Well serviced Public toilets open in the village. €15 for the privilege of sitting in a field with no facilities. Not good enough.
This is a very friendly touring site situated 100m from a spectacular beach. The site and facilities are exceptionally well kept when you consider it was a potato field three years before. The owner is call Alice and she deserves recognition for all the hard work she and her husband have put in to make this site work.

Super petit camping, sans vue sur mer, mais à deux pas du village et du port, accueil chaleureux 25 euros par camping car avec électricité. Parfait pour attendre le bateau.
Stayed last weekend. Great site. Just open so a little raw but getting there. Show block was nice and clean. Owner prefers booking done through Facebook. 34 campervan spaces. Easy reach of village. Great places to eat. Shop at entrance. Good electric hookups near each spot. You might need chocks to level. Water readily available on some sites and at waste disposal. You might need a hose for fresh water filling.
