THIS IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED. THE GOLF CLUB HAVE BEEN TO EXPLAIN.THAT NO OVERNIGHT PARKING IS PERMITTED IN ANY VEHICLE. THE LOCK HAS BEEN CHANGED. THE COUNCIL AND GOLF CLUB ARE IN DISPUTE. SADLY THIS PARK UP IS NO MORE

  • 5/5

Tor nachts geschlossen.

  • 5/5

The description above is accurate. In addition, it is very quiet at night but can feel quite exposed in strong westerly winds Well worth the £12 charge.

  • 5/5

Beautiful coastline. Dogs are allowed on the beach and in the grassy dunes. There's a high stone pebble burn leading onto sand. Flat park up areas will easily fit 80 vans. You have to be self contained as there are no waste facilities for grey or black and there are no fresh water or electric points. Cash only, no card payments. £12 per night/van well spent for overnight or £5 for day parking.

  • 4/5

Lovely cheap and secure £12 for the night friendly chap on the gate park where you like 4g is OK and your on the beach nothing to complain about

  • 3/5

  • 5/5

What a great find. Really helpful chap on the gate, take cash. You need to be self sufficient, but it’s worth it. Right against the beech (large pebbles then sand). Able to have fires on the non-grass areas as long as you clear away after yourself. We have added this to our “let’s go back” list !

  • 5/5

Lovely place we had a good night sleep and kids have love it cheap £12 a night dog friendly beach

  • 5/5

Right on the beach (but no facilities) perfect ! Great overnight stay!

  • 2/5

golf carpark is still open don't know where they got this from that it is close just has good now sun's out what more do you need lovely

  • 5/5

This park up is still an overnight stopover open for self contained motorhomes / camper vans open until 31/10/24 . I am one of the volunteers on the gate so can confirm this is true

  • 5/5

brilliant stop. gates are open from 8am-8pm there is no admittance after 8pm or before 8am that's not negotiable. I'm only putting this here as we have seen several vans have to back back out this evening. lots of campers here sleeping with the sound of waves the other side of the wall. not terribly level you have to pick a bit where you park but a lovely stop over for £12

  • 5/5

Great overnight stop, loads of space, and right by the beach. £12 pn, some might say is a tad expensive, but it's level, secure, dog friendly, and has easy access to the beach! Only has 1 porta loo, so you do need to be self sufficient to a certain extent. We'll definitely use this spot again.

  • 4/5

Arrived at 1pm on a Friday and was greeted at entrance. We paid the fee for 2 nights (£24) and found a place to stop. There were only 8 or 9 other vans already parked up. The beach was only 15 metres away. Walked into Borth on Saturday which is approx 1mile away. We had 2 very peaceful nights sleep after watching the sunset at 9.45pm with a glass of wine.

  • 5/5

Great sunset! Fabulous beach. Large car park. £12. Very windy! Bbq and fires allowed on the stones.

  • 5/5

We stayed here for one night what an amazing view for a sunset £12 you have to have a toilet in your camper. We had a fire on the beach collected lots of drift wood. Great place to stopover.

  • 5/5

Great park up even with the wind and rain. Amazing WiFi signal and a fantastic walk along the beach. £10 a night but need a toilet. Great place!

  • 4/5

A flat'ish site, peddles, gravel & some grassed areas on edges. Unable to see the sea but hear it. There's a breeze, nice on a hot day. The driveway is through the fairway so flying golf balls around. The driveway is very uneven, take care of huge potholes. There looks to be a portable WC, not sure if in use! no bins or other services but all in all, a brill stop for £10 per night.

  • 5/5

Einer der schönsten Plätze an der Küste. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für £ 10 die Nacht stimmt.

  • 4/5

Another good stay of 3 nights, must be self contained. No services at all. Grass and compacted pebbles parking areas. About 40 on the 2 days of better weather. Exposed to wind if coming from east. £10 cash per night.

  • 4/5

lovely spot, sleltered from sea winds by a high pebble ridge. A great find on a coastline that doesn't normally allow motorhomes

  • 3/5

Met by friendly guy on the gate, there is a height restriction but told to drive down the track at the side of it. Large area, lots of variations where to park, some areas flat, some grassy. Next to dog friendly beach. 30 min walk to nearest chip shop although there is a bar & grill in campsite opposite. Very quiet, lovely waking up to the sound of the sea. Only one negative no rubbish bins

  • 5/5

Fantastic place I spend many days here in the summer . Just talking to Archie who runs the site no fires anymore unless using a fire pit ( raised above ground )

  • 5/5

    Lovely place quite peaceful

  • 5/5

Great place. Lots of regulars. Right on the beach. Spend a few weekends every year, there.

  • 5/5

Lovely place to park, went up there a few times last year! Must have a toilet onboard if staying the the night.

  • 4/5

Gorgeous spot but went there for my first ever car camp last week and there are now signs saying no camping without an on board toilet facility x

  • 5/5

one of our favourite places to stop over. £10 a night . noone allowed on after 8pm so no noise traffic. can be windy but your on the sea front so expected. can flood in winter so not always open unless you have a boat ha ha great for kids and dogs .when tide is out tou can walk on pebble and sand beach and see the ancient underwater forest . no facilities just good old mother nature

  • 5/5

Stayed here 20/9 Perfect little stop over and for £10 it’s worth it, I parked right down the far end in my T5 there is plenty of space for setting up and I had no issues what so ever. Obviously no facilities as this is ultimately just a car park but for self contained vans this is a must stop over and will 100% be coming back here

  • 5/5

Lovely spot, right on the beach. Early morning swim and walk. Run by a lovely couple.

  • 5/5

Internet signal great, very quiet at night considering how many vans are here for a bank holiday. Atmosphere at night felt good. Dog friendly, people friendly and lovely stay

  • 5/5

Great safe stopover. Drive down bumpy track to gate alongside height barrier. Pay £10 for night to chap who opens gate. Access only between 8am - 8pm. Loads of space. About 20 on a Weds night in Aug. With granddaughter and safe place behind pebble bank. About 30 mins walk to 1st Borth fish n chips shop other shops beyond. walk past and through the ancient submerged forest when the tide is out.

  • 5/5

If you have everything with you (toilet, shower, water) this is perfect! Directly by the sea, nice walk to Borth (cute village), quite level to park.

  • 1/5

This area may not be in use anymore, there was no gate or code.

  • 4/5

First time staying, and it won't be the last! Nice walks, Dog friendly, and 2 really nice guys working the gate! When you arrive, you have one entry with a high bar and another entry for vans/motorhomes. Make sure you have cash for payment, and plenty of water, as well as use of your own toilet. As the nearest toilet is a 10 minute walk along the promenade.

  • 5/5

Großer Platz zwischen Dünen und Steinwall, dahinter das Meer. Toller Sonnenuntergang.

Sehr freundlicher Platzwart.

  • 4/5

Arrived in micro camper/car camper, bloke on the gate very helpful, said no cars/camping overnight as police patrol, gave suggestions where to park up, police patrol car arrived around 7-7:30 to check.

  • 3/5

  • 5/5

Great location, bargain for the night too and the guy on the gate is lovely, super friendly.

  • 5/5

you can overnight park, cost is £10 on arrival pull up to the gate and knock the door on the first camper on the right chap lives in it and takes payment to open gate. arrive before 6pm winter 8pm summer before last entry.

  • 1/5

New signs up saying no overnight parking, no camper vans. Height barrier and new fences prevent access. Sea Wall has been destroyed by the entrance - maybe this is the reason?

  • 5/5

Absolutely fantastic, guy on gate so friendly and helpful. Great location. Will return.

  • 1/5

Got to the gate and gut came over from a camper parked there , told us it was £10 to stay the night , about turned as we had been on a site on the South coast for £15 with an elsan point , water and hook up ....Signs said £2 for all day parking. Also no view blocked by flood defenses no facilities and junk laying about .. Avoid , better in a layby

  • 1/5

We turned up at this place for 1 night wasn’t impressed says room for 50 spaces but the was more like 70 motorhomes there was a family with a child that was very loud and full of language the man who runs the site never did anything There is a no overnight parking sign also no turning sign. When we drove up the very rough road Also, the local residents can be very diligent regarding motorhomes

  • 5/5

Love this place we have stayed a few times no problems just be there before 8pm as gates are locked

  • 1/5

Looks like a great spot but unfortunately no entry after 8pm so we couldn’t get in

  • 5/5

Lovely spot. Safe and quiet. Spent a lovely weekend there, guy at the gate super helpful and friendly. There are new signs up saying no overnight parking, please ignore, it's only for cars/caravans, campervans are welcome for £10 per night. No amenities, so make sure you have a loo! Although there are public toilets in town (1.5miles).

  • 5/5

Spent 2 blissful days/nights there recently. quiet, peaceful and so close to the beach. one of my favourite park ups.

  • 5/5

Stayed 2 nights and will definitely go back regularly, guy on the gate was super friendly, it's unlevel in places but plenty spots if you park right, 2 min walk & over a small fence to the beach, everyone was respectful, you can have small fires and bbqs, there's a caravan sight across the road with bar and grill your allowed to use, eat in or takeaways, so far most relaxed place I've stayed.

  • 5/5

Excellent place right next to the sea. Guys running it v friendly. Plenty of vans. - Leave NO trace - Go plant-based

  • 5/5

My fave pitchup so far! Quiet, lovely atmosphere, no amenities so be self contained! 4g signal a touch slow but manageable

  • 4/5

A wonderful little spot but very busy with cars on weekend. Quiet at night. A beautiful sunset walk here is a must. 30 walk to the nearest shower/toilet so must have your own facilities. Phone number on the gate and you get a code to unlock the gate to get through.

  • 4/5

Gravel car park adjacent to the sea although there is no view. quiet and safe ideal for a 1 night stop. good 4g connection. ten pound a night.

  • 4/5

PHONE/INTERNET SIGNAL? Can anyone comment on how phone signal /Internet service was at this location please? I need to be somewhere with decent Internet signal for an evening and trying to plan ahead. Thankyou :)

  • 4/5

Fabulous quiet overnight parking by the sea in Betty the Campervan ring Archie and he will give you the padlock number and hes the guy to pay.... Cost £10 for the night and we stayed the day after enjoying the beach.

  • 5/5

Stayed here for 2 nights. Absolutely brilliant no problems with finding it. There are a few pot holes but fine if you drive slow. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. Beach and sand dunes 30 second walk. Really friendly lads taking the money. Aberystwyth 15 min drive away. lovely day out there. We will be back soon! (No facilities).

  • 5/5

Perfect for a night's stop over or even longer.Just park up and enjoy your spot.35 motorhomes stayed.plenty of space. Lovely feel to the place. Arrive at the gate and ring the phone number and you wil get given the code for the padlock.£10 charge which is a very good price to know that your not going to be moved on or beeped at through the night. Please note There are no facilities here..

  • 5/5

Lovely peaceful & friendly spot for a quiet night on the coast. No facilities but the sound of the ocean make this place a special location and only £10 for the night. Definitely marked as a return too.

  • 5/5

Super little place, Archie who lives on site and runs it, has asked that people are aware the charge is now £10 per night. Still great value, great views, wake up with the sound of the waves.

  • 5/5

Great spot. we were charged £10 which is still fine given the location.

  • 5/5

What a spot, right by the beach, plenty of room to spread out and only £7.50 a night with a dog. Very quiet even though there were lots of motorhomes around, everyone has their own space to enjoy the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. Will definitely return.

  • 5/5

Nice spot, lovely to hear the waves when going to sleep. Beautiful long beach with mountains in the background. Quite a few vans there this weekend, but we had a decent space parked on the grass.

  • 5/5

Perfect place to park up, beautiful sunset, quiet night, fires allowed. No amenities, would definitely recommend

  • 5/5

Amazing views! No toilets etc but just a great spot! We are thinking of staying at the sand dunes but thought it would be better here and we were right.

  • 4/5

Cracking site, no amenities, I think that’s the beauty of the site. Right on the beach, short walk to the shops/pubs. And you can have a real fire!!

  • 4/5

Great no frills carpark right on the beach, Archie who runs the site is a great guy, spent 2 nights with my grandson we had a great time

  • 5/5

This place is an absolute gem. Although no services, the location is absolutely amazing. Park by the sea wall and walk up the slight hill and you can sit and watch spectacular coastal views in one direction and Snowdonia National Park in the other. About a two mile walk along the beach to Borth itself. Great transport links to Aberystwyth by train and bus. The 512 bus leaves from the gate and Borth Station about a mile away. The number to ring to get through the padlocked gate is posted above and Archie is very accommodating. If you love the beach and get good weather this is the place. Still £7.50 per 24 hours. It’s also a car park during the day but gets empty at night except motorhomes and camper vans. Although u even we parked and didn’t even have to use chocks for a perfectly flat bit.

  • 3/5

Odd set up, height barrier to allow cars only but if you phone “Archie” (number on gate) you are given a code for the padlock for £7.50, he lives in a small van on site where you pay him. Rough stone ground but ok for our 7m motorhome

  • 4/5

  • 3/5

For the price it was good enough. Quiet, level, by the sea, but no sea views

  • 4/5

Charismatischer Platz-Verwalter.

  • 1/5

Quiet, cheap, (£7.50), friendly ‘caretaker’ on site. Good location- yards from beach.

  • 1/5

There is a no overnight parking sign here. Also, the local residents can be very diligent regarding motorhomes. Also be aware of new parking restrictions coming into place by 8th August.
