le parking est bien gratuit mais interdit d'y passer la nuit pour les véhicules aménagés (camping-car, campervan). information indiquée sur le panneau du parking et également fournie par le personnel du café d'en face.
Information prise auprès du personnel : c'est autorisé les toilettes sur place et le wifi depuis la gare maritime (très rapide jusqu'à 1Go environ, puis lent).

mathewaitken123/10/2024Stayed here and went to the pub on the car park. Was perfect and right beside the ferry terminal. Cars are parked by you etc. so not the most remote but perfect for the ferry and pub
LESPELLOZ10/10/2024L’endroit est bien si vous appréciez dormir sur un parking entouré de voitures et que vous prenez le ferry le lendemain matin tôt … ça casse le côté un peu roots d’un van trip … cependant il y a un bar très chouette à côté et les commodités sont propre il y en a beaucoup et il y a de l’eau chaude.
melougil06/10/2024Pas de signes spécifiques sur le parking mais les locaux nous ont confirmé qu’on pouvait y rester dormir. Nuit très calme et avec une belle vue sur le port au réveil. Je vous recommande de passer au Bakur Bar juste à côté si vous en avez l’occasion, le personnel est d’une gentillesse extrême, meilleur stop de notre séjour !!

Was one of my fav spots. Amazing to have the 24 hr toilets right there plus a small store for snacks and tea in the morning. No disturbances and there were a few other vehicles parked.

Une personne de la compagnie de ferry nous a dit qu’il était toléré de passer la nuit. Toilettes gratuites et pub à proximité. Très pratique en cas de ferry très tôt.
GastonyDaniela24/06/2024Están reformando el aparcamiento. Hoy imposible aparcar. No sé cuándo finalizarán las obras. Al lado de la brewery hay aparcamiento de coches. Los locales, aparcan en medio de la calzada y ahí te quedas, esperando a que termine. Este viaje por UK, es una auténtica pesadilla

Très pratique quand on prend le ferry à 4h du matin. Le personnel nous a dit qu'on pouvait rester sur le parking la nuit. Sanitaires exterieurs ouverts toute la nuit et corrects. On a pu y remplir notre douche portative avec une gourde au robinet. Sanitaires du terminal très propres et ouverts dès qu'un embarquement à lieu (4h du matin pour nous) Parking plat et propre.

Einziger geöffneter Campingplatz auf Skye im November. Wc und Duschen für GBP30 unterirdisch. Lage neben Fähre ok.

Avec notre Van de 6 mètres, nous avons passé la nuit de samedi à dimanche sans problème. Toilettes tout près (propres avec papier) et poubelles.
Nikeboro31/05/2022If catching 1st ferry overnight in queuing lanes. If not, there are 2 car parks in which to stop over. Best bet is long stay lane by the sea. Other bigger car park, on right, is short stay. However no prohibitions and, talking to ferry staff, overnighting allowed and people do it every night. Tight fit for motorhomes. Outside car parks, also several areas on edges where motorhomes spent night.

Slept here in April22 but was very windy and ferry starts early in the morning but didn’t bother us much but just not a very remote place and lorries parking up next to you waiting for the ferry and didn’t feel we had any privacy

Parked and slept in car here on Fri 7th Jan ‘22. Very quiet due to time of year but it is a public carpark right at the harbour and fully lit, so would not recommend staying here during busier times. No issues, but largely due to time of year I suspect.

Perfect spot at this time of year. We were the only campervan in the long stay parking. Public toilets available 24hr and enjoyed watching the ferry come and go. Planned to get up before the first ferry in case we felt a lack of privacy, but as it turned out, we sat up in bed to watch the ferry docking at 9.15am.

Such a lovely quiet spot on the front overlooking the harbour. Toilets across the road to the side of the ferry terminal. Isle of Skye brewery here too - we went in and got a few bottles of beer which we enjoyed in the van! Gets busy with traffic behind the car park when ferry’s are due but during this time of the year this isn’t very often and not late into the night. Lots of cars about but we were the only camper but despite this felt very safe!

Parked in the long stay carpark over night. Checked with the port staff and they said it's fine. Great views over the little bay and nice to sit and watch the ferries come and go
