Nette camping. Wanneer je aankomt rijden ziet het er minder aantrekkelijk uit. Je rijdt over een industrieterrein. De camping is netjes, alles verhard, keurig sanitair, heet water en een prachtig uitzicht. Wij zagen het cruiseschip de Nieuw Statendam de haven in varen. Prachtig!

Wouldn’t accept my small French bull dog, said he was a danger! Very rude and unaccommodating, spoke on the phone before hand said he had plenty of rooms, then refused when I got there.

Nice spot with a great view overlooking the bay and very quite, there are multiple levels to choose a spot from, relative new toilets and showers which are clean. 35 euro for motorhome 2 people no power.

Lieblos in die Natur gebaggerter Platz. Zwei kleine Grünstreifen für Zelte ansonsten dominieren Schotter und Steine. Freundlicher Empfang, wunderschöne Aussicht und praktische Stationen für die Entleerung von WC-Kassetten und Grauwasser. Saubere Duschen und Toiletten in Containern. Die auf der Website hochgepriesene Abfalltrennung existiert leider nicht.

magnificent views, site itself is nearly all hardstanding, and looks barren. For the size of site, the toilet and shower facilities are limited. Plenty of signs saying what you can't do, one says no pets, the other says dogs on leads at all times. Rather contradictory. €40 for a campervan with 2 occupants is a high charge. overall poor value considering the alternatives.

Fantastische Lage und Aussicht. Saubere Duschen/Toiletten. Freundlicher Empfang. Leider keine Möglichkeit, Geschirr abzuwaschen. Keine Waschmaschine/Tumbler. Schlechter Internetempfang. 35 Euro für einen VW-Bus und 2 Personen ohne Strom etwas zuviel.

Struggled to find anywhere to empty cassette and called at site to ask if we could use black waste and willing to pay for the facility. Was charged €15 which was excessive. The site was very unwelcoming and very exposed. Come on Donegal you can do better.

Basic campsite but adequate campsite pitches are fully service have water and grey waste the toilets and showers ok showers are free, at the time of posting there is a digger smashing up a massive great rock so the noise is from 7.45 am to 5 pm very noisy indeed also the cost overnight seems to vary we pay €40 people before pay 35. I’m not absolutely sure what the correct price is.

Simple basic campsite but it has what you need. Clean toilets and showers, grey water dump and chemical toilet dump. Lovely views. Very quiet here at the end of October, only 1 other camper in the whole place. Was charged €35 cash which is a bit steep for such a basic campsite. No shop on site and the walk back into town is not ideal. Stock up before you get there. Lovely cove at bottom of hill.

Fully exposed to southerly winds. Agree with many reviews that the negative signage is excessive. Lovely view, though, and access to a small rocky beach below the campsite.

Hingefahren, bezahlt, auf einen der vielen freien Plätze gestellt, Strom angeschlossen, fertig. Sehr ruhig, sehr sauber (WC und Duschen), schöner Meerblick.

Well this is the “Marmite” campsite, you’ll either like it or hate it, Personally I think it’s ok. Plenty of space, choice of pitches, all services included, excellent WiFi, secure and lovely views. Yes it’s in an old quarry but why not? Seems like a great use of something now redundant. €35 for us camper with two adults, try to find a site with the same facilities this time of the year in England for that price (£30 in proper money). Only 4 stars the signs are OTT, we are adults and don’t need to be told every law of the land verbatim, just email us the T&C’s and loose all the notices!

Es war zwar sehr ruhig und sehr schöner Ausblick, aber der ganze Schotter und die Verbotsschilder vermitteln keine schöne Atmosphäre. Stadt in 20 Gehminuten entfernt. Kleine felsige Bucht. Wartezeit bei Duschen weil zu wenig bei der Stellplatz Anzahl. Nur 2 Abspülbecken.

Awful spot. Definitely not one for families. Charged us €50 for one night in a small VW family of 5. Only stayed one night having meant to stay 3. Drunk people driving round the site at 1am. 2 showers for over 60 vans. Warning signs everywhere. Absolutely zero charm. A view and nothing else. Feels and looks like a quarry. Can't believe this place had good reviews!

Instalaciones totalmente nuevas, extremadamente limpias. Tienda de campaña y moto 25€, un poco mas de lo habitual pero las condiciones sin duda lo vale. Vistas espectaculares.

Großer, terrassenförmig angelegter Campingplatz mit schönem Blick auf die Bucht. Schotterflächen, Sanitär war sehr sauber. Es waren vielleicht 15 Camper mit uns dort. Zu Fuß in die Stadt nicht so schön, mit dem Fahrrad in Ordnung. Anrufen und anmelden, der Platzwart hat um 19 Uhr auf uns gewartet. Danke sehr unkompliziert.

Careless, thoughtless and expensive for what it had to offer. Dishwashing facilities very poor (lukewarm water and very slow flowing), no bins in ladies toilets. Other facilities clean but insufficient for the size of the site. Would not recommend.

Sehr sauberer Platz, komplett geschottert, die vorderen Bereiche mit der schönsten Aussicht haben 2m-Höhenbegrenzung (vermutlich um die Sicht von den hinteren Plätzen nicht zu sehr zu blockieren?). 40€/N für Campervan mit zwei Personen und Hund (mit ACSI 5€ Rabatt).

Sehr gepflegter Platz, wunderschöne Aussicht, sehr netter Betreiber (ein Anruf genügte und er war da (Ende März)). Plätze mit fließend Wasser und Strom. Die sanitären Einrichtungen sind einfach aber funktionieren und sind sauber. Warme duschen inklusive.

Been visiting this site annually for years now an still 1 my favourites. Owner Patsy is lovely and accommodating and yr on yr is steady improving the site. Plenty of bays an tent pitches for all kinds plus toilets and general facilities are as good as I’ve seen. I once called here for 2 nights intending to trek around and I ended up staying the whole week in Killybegs as my base. 5/5

Es sind insgesamt mindestens 60 Plätze verfügbar. Die einfachen Containertoiletten und Duschen sind sehr gepflegt. Mit uns waren auf den 6 verschiedenen Ebenen etwa 5 Camper. Dadurch fühlten wir uns etwas verloren. Zum Hafen ca. 1,5 km. Ein weiter Weg von unten zur Entleerung der Chemietoilette.

Bit hidden, all services, staff/owner friendly and very good customer care. A lot of jokes and fun. Me may complain about price but finally I got water and power for free. Camper 20€, any person 5€.

Great site. Very friendly and helpful owners. Spotless facilities here. And excellent recycling. Pitches are tiered. And most have great views over the bay and beyond. Grey and loo waste on every tier. Showers are good. But 3 Euro pay by card. You do get an over generous 15 minute wash for that. Great place to stay for a few nights. Lovely and peaceful at night.

Bon camping pour une nuit, permet de recharger en eau et vidanger les eaux grises et noires. 30€ pour un van et deux adulte électricité comprise. Les sanitaires sont dans des algécos tout neufs et propres. La douche est à 3 € pour 15 minutes payable par carte bancaire à l'intérieur, quand ça veut bien fonctionner. Il manque de la verdure, mais il y a une belle vue sur la mer.

a landscaped quarry that is 35 mins walk to town the owner Pat is very friendly and the showers and toilets are brand new and spotless as of 27/06/23. Pricing seems to be "flexible" so be ready to discuss! paid 35€ for one night with a Moho 2 people and 2 cats All pitches are fully serviced, electric, water, depends on how far you park away from the showers/loo can be far big list of Don'ts!

I'm staying two nights, paying €30 per night for a single person. I'd echo what another person stated, this is basically a quarry, everything is a hardstanding! six different levels, all with hookup and water. Two very new toilet blocks in excellent condition, it could do with some landscaping to be honest by something other than a JCB. also, if you have children there is nothing they can do.

Paid €40 for all, good clean facilities, power hook up and water at every camper patch, waste tanks empied and topped up fresh water, loads of room, loads of pitches, very quiet area, did the job for us

Lovely spot with fab views, especially from the higher places! The people who run the site are very friendly and fun! Facilities were very clean and super shower, all inclusive so no buying tokens here! Hope to go back soon.

Absolutely stunning location! Toilets and showers very clean. Watch out for charge, as we were initially told 35 euros by the owner for campervan with electric and then the guy who took payment said it was 30euros. Apart from this, one of our best stops on the whole WAW

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber eines einzigartig angelegten Platzes, welcher über alles funktioniert, was man braucht. Leider ging das WiFi nicht als wir da waren und die Verbindung klappt auch nur am Eingang aber da dürfte man sich wohl hinstellen während der Nutzung. Die Anlagen sind einfach ausgestattet aber sehr sauber. Warmwasser vorhanden. Preis pro Nacht 40€ mit 2 Personen und 2 Hunden.

Stunning campsite,every lot has an electric hook up and it’s own water supply. Yes there could be more showers and toilets, but id take the views for the price any day! Toilets and showers are clean, free and hot! Owners are lovely, he’ll find you a space! We came here to climb at Muckross, but Killybegs is very interesting-we stayed an extra night!Worth walking to the seafood food truck in town

Avis mitigé. Le camping est situé sur une ancienne carrière, d'où les terrasses. Pour les CC, la seule qui vaille le coup, serait celle du haut, et sa quinzaine de places, à l'abri du vent, à proximité des toilettes / douches, dignes de ce nom. Il faut compter 35 € tout compris, pour 1 CC, 2 adultes et 1 enfant. En haut, je veux bien, mais pour le chantier du bas, c'est une honte.

Camping à éviter absolument. Douches bouillantes puis gelées, une ne fonctionnait pas sur les 4, sanitaires dans des cabanes de chantier, vaisselle sans eau chaude. Seul avantage, vidange eaux grises et eaux noires et plein d’eau qui fonctionnent correctement. Prix pour un camping car et 2 adultes 35 euros

Great little site. Great view from the lower terraces. Toilets exceptionally clean. And the owner was an absolute gentleman.

A wonderful view across the bay and beyond the lighthouse but the semi permanent facilities on the top and mid tier are inadequate for campers in such a spread out site carved out of the hillside. And the wifi doesn't really work unless you stand by the Reception building. For €30 I think the facilities should be better.

Good view flat clean Covid aware no showers poor WiFi Basic and functional

Estuvimos el 3 de octubre, solo usamos los servicios, vaciamos aguas negras (artesano pero muy cómodo) y rellenamos agua, nos cobro 5€ por los servicios. El hombre muy amable nos señaló lugares que ver, donde dormir... Recomiendo el fish and chips de Killybegs seafood shack en Killybegs.

Very clean and with everything one needs.

Propre et pratique quand Donegal ne propose rien de correct même en stationnement. 25 € nous n’avons pas fait de marchandage, on ne sait pas faire. On va finir par penser qu’en Irlande, il faut trouver ce genre de campsite pour pouvoir faire eau claire, vider ses eaux grises et surtout le wc. Je n’ose pas imaginer comment font ceux qui sont en autonomie.

Accueil sympathique prix annoncé 25 € voyant ma grimace ce sera 20 € électricité, douches comprises ! Belle vue terrain plat...

No tiene FREGADEROS entre otras cosas y a la entrada no te lo dicen, 6 esplanadas con pendiente y lavabos lejos. por lo demás...buenas vistas y acceso al mar.

Très bien pour la vue, très bien pour les services électricité eau vidange à chaque emplacement,moins bien pour les sanitaires, très propres mais douches pas très pratiques, et pas de machine à laver le linge, tarif 25€ forfaitaire semble t il.
