We stayed for two nights here. The walking on the coast path is spectacular, and the beach is second to none. We had breakfast in The Welloe, and can highly recommend. Be prepared for it to get very busy if the 'surf's up!'. This carpark doesn't have the views of the others, but in the gale that was blowing when we were there, is really sheltered. at £5 overnight, it is the cheapest at Praa.

Great little Car Park - have to pay after 7:30 for the overnight tariff. Warning the toilet block is currently closed, but would recommend the beach bar and restaurant. Also note that there are two car parks with different prices. This is the cheaper one.

Parcheggio per camper su un bel prato accanto alla spiaggia. I bagni sono sporchi però è comodo lo scarico delle acque nere. Assolutamente consigliato anche per passarci la notte.

Back again, it was a lovely little spot at Maggie's been here a few times now. The toilets are locked up this time around

we arrived at maggies patch to be told by the owner maggie that she doesn't want overnighting but there are a couple of other carparks that have overnight so check which one you are in. she also didnt like dogs

Der absolute Wahnsinn, man steht eben und hat keine 50m zum Strand! 5£ echt mega gut, Mülleimer vorhanden.

Stayed ere a few times we are locals and love the simplicity of parking up in our camper van overnight parking is cheap as chips for location and getting straight on the beach in seconds! lovely little spot get onit!!

Quite possibly the best car park with a sea view ever. And even though the car park 200m was full we got a clear space here. The charging is a bit odd as it’s £5 for 12 hours and £12 for 24 hours so it’s cheaper just to pay every 12 hours ..

fantastic spot. Will use again. £5 overnight (7.30pm to 9am) £3 all day. Nice coastal walks. perfect clean beach and surf if that's your thing. right next to bar and restaurant. parking is the gravel carpark on the left (facing the coast) others are council run.

I highly recommend this place. You can choose the park with sea views or the slightly cheaper one behind the surf shop. Toilets really handy and seemed open all night. Sand Bar is a nice place for a drink. The sea view car park advertises £8 for 24 hours, but the pay machine wanted to charge me £12.

Had a great night here. Paid £8 for 24hrs, few car parks to choose from, machine accepts contactless payment, toilets basic but ok. Lovely sea view from the van, great for surfing access. Quiet night and great nights sleep.

Arrived lunch time. Put £8 in machine for 24 hours but parking ticket showed it is only valid until 11pm. Tried calling parking people but as it is only a computer i couldn’t explain my predicament.

A great spot right next to the beach! two carparks, smaller one with sea view is £8 a night and larger one just behind it is £5. very quiet only 3-4 vans overnight. very clean toilets open all night ! seriously good spot !

£5 for 24 hours but behind the cafe £8 for 24 hours to have a good view Must take cash as it does not accept card or notes, also shop is not willing to help with change. View peaceful and you can hear the waves. Good place to stop for the night

Great place to stay, choice of car parks from £5, for the night , beach very close, use of toilet block open day and night which is run by the parish and has a honesty box (please donate) and restaurant/bar on site, quiet nights sleep

Stayed here last night, nice quite stay, lots of room and a sea view

Plenty of space here, we stayed overnight for £5 and had no problem at all and a good night's sleep. Ground a bit uneven for our motorhome but we found a decent spot near the hedge.

Great place to park up. £5 for the night. 1 min walk from a gorgeous beach. 24hr toilets. Sand Bar next door. With food and music.

Parked on Maggies patch car park, lovely and quiet place, toilet facilities were currently being renovated but still had portable toilets however currently no showers.. Beautiful beach with nice cafe and bar also situated near by. Make sure you bring cash as no ATM and the only one is the main road in a petrol station leading down to Praa Sands which has have a service charge to withdraw.

Calm place. I even met the nice lady who is owning the car park - Maggie.

  • 5/5

Maggies patch was the best spot, overnight from 7.30pm until 9am for £5, beautiful beach, no dogs 7am-7pm

Public toilets right next to carpark with outdoor cold water shower. Right on the beach, mobile black spot but bar right next door has free WiFi and isn't loud at night. They're hot on parking tickets with number plate recognition. Not bothered about campers though.
