Route de Radipole : Route secondaire longeant le commissariat de police de Weymouth, avec le Wessex Golf Centre à son extrémité. L’accès se fait par un chemin privé étroit et gravillonné, et le stationnement y est interdit.
Ce terrain peut accueillir six camping-cars, ne dispose d’aucun équipement et est très calme la nuit. En approchant du golf, un petit chemin non aménagé se trouve sur la droite (permettant de garer quelques véhicules) ; un camping-car y était stationné lors de notre passage. Il est également pratique pour faire demi-tour.
Des portails métalliques permettent de fermer le chemin si nécessaire, mais dans ce cas, il est préférable de se garer plus près du rond-point.
Radipole Road: A secondary road next to the Weymouth police station, with the Wessex Golf Centre at the end. Access is via a narrow, gravel private road and is NOT suitable for parking.
It can accommodate six campervans, has no facilities, and is very quiet at night. As you approach the golf centre, there is a small, unfinished lane to the right (for parking a couple of vehicles) (there was a campervan parked there when we were there)... also useful for turning around.
There are metal gates that could be used to close the road if necessary, but in that case, you could park closer to the roundabout.
Radipole Road: Eine Nebenstraße neben der Polizeistation Weymouth, an deren Ende sich das Wessex Golf Centre befindet. Die Zufahrt erfolgt über eine schmale, unbefestigte Privatstraße, die nicht zum Parken geeignet ist.
Der Stellplatz bietet Platz für sechs Wohnmobile, verfügt über keine Sanitäranlagen und ist nachts sehr ruhig. Kurz vor dem Golfzentrum zweigt rechts ein kleiner, unbefestigter Weg ab (zum Parken von ein paar Fahrzeugen) (dort stand bei unserem Besuch ein Wohnmobil). Er eignet sich auch zum Wenden.
Bei Bedarf kann die Straße mit Metalltoren gesperrt werden. In diesem Fall empfiehlt es sich, näher am Kreisverkehr zu parken.
Radipole Road: Carretera secundaria junto a la comisaría de policía de Weymouth, con el centro de golf Wessex al final. Se accede por un camino privado estrecho, de grava y NO apto para aparcar.
Tiene capacidad para seis autocaravanas, sin servicios y es muy tranquilo por la noche. Al acercarse al centro de golf, hay un pequeño camino sin terminar a la derecha (para aparcar un par de vehículos) (había una autocaravana aparcada allí cuando estuvimos)... útil también para dar la vuelta.
Hay unas puertas metálicas que podrían usarse para cerrar la carretera si fuera necesario, pero en ese caso se podría aparcar más cerca de la rotonda.
