It's a nice spot to park. Quite steep. Excellent view of the beach.

Please note the layby shown and the other 2 near it now have parking overnight from 20.00 until 07.00 banned as from 3 days ago. council order for 21 days but it will probably be extended as there have been problems. Realistically they are too steep anyway on the hil
victoriacavellvc06/02/2020The car parks on Wood Hill as per pictures are quite sloped, too much for us for a night. The car park down the hill turn right opposite Sands Cafe is closed now and used by construction workers. Come down Wood Hill and turn left there are 3 more car parks, furthest opposite Pebble Cafe. All are paid in summer, free in winter and all have some restriction on overnight parking/sleeping/cooking. We took a chance in Feb and stayed overnight and it was fine. Flat, peaceful, wonderful views from the middle car park. WC in the first car park after Wood Hill
amoleT403/07/2019This is one of my favourite beaches. I came here as a child for summer holidays. This is a great spot for views but it is on a slope. If you keep driving downhill towards the sea, there is a small car park over the little bridge, immediately on the left.(opposite the café). There are no signs about restrictions.
