I stayed during storm Amy & found it very calm here even though it’s open. Level pitches, electric metered - I spent just over £2 for 2 nights during grey, wet weather when solar was nonexistent. Facilities clean but dated. Agree with others they need to add some more facilities as it’s a large site. Set in the beautiful grounds of Hoddom Castle with its own golf course! Plenty of walks to be had!
Camping avec un emplacement incroyable au pied d’un ancien château. Points positifs: pas de limite d’heure d’arrivée (enveloppes avec consigne et carte électricité laissée à la réception), bar/restaurant/take away sur place, golf inclus. Points négatifs: infrastructures datées et entretien
Leuke speeltuin, fijn golfbaan, mooi kasteel, grote plaatsen veel ruimte. Laatste foto van de camping op park4night helaas niet gevonden. Alleen wat oudere wc’s en douches. Op zaterdag was er een live band.
Bei Ankunft am Sonntag 17:30 Uhr war die Rezeption geschlossen. An die Tür waren Umschläge mit Nummern von verfügbaren "Plates" gepinnt. Wir fanden problemlos unsern (gesplitteten) Standplatz auf dem gepflegten Parkgelände. Stromanschluss plus dazugehörige Ladekarte wäre vorhanden gewesen, wurde aber nicht benötigt. Die Sanitär-Einrichtungen waren einwandfrei. Top!
Schade, dass die Rezeption an einem Montag schon um 17.15 Uhr geschlossen war und nicht wie an der Tür angegeben um 18.00 Uhr. So mussten wir unverrichteter Dinge wieder abfahren. Vielleicht unser Problem, da wir nicht zu den Campern gehören, die vorreservieren, sondern gerne spontan sind.
Arrived after reception closed but they displayed instructions to pitches on the door, paid in the morning with no issues. There’s a pond, golf course, mini golf, shop, play park, games room, laundry and bar/restaurant ( food ok) & takeaway wood fire pizza(looked good)Ladies showers were clean and modern with hairdryers (20p+) bathrooms outdated but clean. Nice little stop with pretty grounds.
Dieser Campingplatz besticht durch seine gepflegte Anlage und wunderschöne Aussicht. Die familiäre Atmosphäre lädt zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen ein. Freundliche Mitarbeiter stehen jederzeit hilfsbereit zur Seite. Ein Ort, der zum Verweilen einlädt und unvergessliche Urlaubsmomente verspricht. Hier findet jeder Gast die perfekte Umgebung für erholsame Tage.
Sehr schöner Campingplatz. Das Highlight ist natürlich das Schloss. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die sanitären Anlagen sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Milchautomat direkt neben der Rezeption
Freundlicher Empfang auf einem sehr schönen angelegten Campingplatz mit ausreichend großen Stellplätzen auf Schotter, die durch Grünflächen abgetrennt sind. Sehr großzügige Sanitäranlagen im Bereich der Rezeption.
Wonderful friendly campsite at the beautiful castle estate. Hot and unlimited showers. Good phone signal. £20 with ACSI card for 2 ppl and van.
Parfait ! Meilleur stop de notre voyage pour l'instant. D'un calme parfait, douches chaudes et propres dans une pièce elle même chauffée, personnel adorable, petit magasin sur le camping pour quelques basiques, oeufs et lait de la ferme. L'électricité est a 5 livres mais fonctionne avec une carte et si on ne consomme pas les 5 on est remboursé en partant.
Lovely site. Arrived after reception had closed. Envelopes are left on the door with instructions and card for electric meter. Lovely clean showers and toilets. Very well organised.
Sehr netter Empfang, tolle, historisch sehr interessante Location am Castle. Faire Preise, Abreise erst um 13:00, da kommen wir gerne nochmal hin.

The site is well laid out, and the pitches are large, we had a gravel with electric for our 2 berth mh. The EHU is now with a prepay card from reception but they explain what to do and how to claim back any unspent money you have on. Some of the facilities are a little dated compared to other sites we have visited, but clean and perfectly serviceable. We ate in the bar, and the food was delicious
Really nice site in terms of location with some nice walks to be had. Good wee golf course. Reasons for only 3 stars are hard standing pitches are very uneven and it was too busy for our liking.
fantastisch mooie plaats om te staan, eigenlijk het voortuintje van een kasteel. ruime verharde plaatsen en ruime voorzieningen. vooraf geboekt via de website en toen waren er maar twee plaatsen beschikbaar. toch bleek dat er veel meer plaats was dan werd aangegeven, site wordt blijkbaar niet tijdig en goed bijgehouden. Overigens vriendelijke en gastvrije ontvangst. Een aanrader!
Idyllique !! sanitaires au top, grands emplacements , parfait
Well set out campsite on the grounds of the castle ruins. All facilities with a bar restaurant on site. Lovely walks around the grounds, golf on site and a lovely walk along the river Annan. We didn’t use toilet/shower fasciitis as have own in MH, Children’s play area and a good amount of grass land for children playing with football. We stayed one night £24.

Très beau camping a cote du château. tous confort un camping-car pour 23 livres. balade et soleil aujourd'hui.
Very tidy site with good walks nearby. easy to get to from the M74. lovely country side setting
Accueil très gentil de la part de la patronne et patron aux petits soins si vous avez des soucis avec le camping-car. Très pratique pour vider et remplir le camping-car. Il y a un restaurant dans le château très sympa. Si vous avez vos club de golf le parcours est accessible depuis le camping.
Cadre magnifique. Sanitaires ultra propres et bien équipés. Machine à laver 3 £, sèche-linge 0.2 £, 4 adultes, 1 enfant, 1 camping-car 41 £. Mérite ses 5 étoiles.
Effectivement, superbe camping. sanitaires au top. accueil très sympathique. par contre, il ferme à 19h (jusqu'a 21h si réservation).
Ce camping à l'air bien mais pas de réservation et arrivée à 20h, plus de réception, impossible de rester, dommage !
