(0484) Cape Reinga - SH 1

Parking numéro 2 (!) directement au Cap Reinga. Pour y accéder, contourner une fois le parking 1 (ici le camping est interdit) et revenir 50 mètres sur la route, monter à droite derrière le rond-point. Aucun panneau d'interdiction. Endroit super calme, nous étions seuls ici. Point de départ idéal pour la courte randonnée jusqu'au phare. Les toilettes publiques se trouvent au P1 mais sont fermées la nuit. Nous sommes restés une nuit et avons été parmi les premiers au phare le matin avant l'arrivée de la foule. Lever et coucher de soleil fantastiques.

Parking lot number 2 (!) right at Cape Reinga. To get there, drive around parking lot 1 (camping is prohibited here) and go back 50 meters on the road, turn right after the roundabout. No prohibition signs. Super quiet place, we were alone here. Perfect starting point for the short hike to the lighthouse. Public toilets are at P1, but are closed at night. We stayed one night and were among the first at the lighthouse in the morning before the crowds arrived. Fantastic sunrise and sunset.

Parkplatz Nummer 2 (!) direkt am Cape Reinga. Um drauf zu kommen, einmal auf Parkplatz 1 (hier ist Camping verboten) die Runde fahren und 50 Meter auf der Straße zurück, hinter dem Kreisverkehr rechts hoch. Keine Verbotsschilder. Super ruhiger Platz, wir standen hier alleine. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für die kurze Wanderung zum Leuchtturm. Öffentliche WCs sind auf P1, werden aber nachts geschlossen. Wir blieben eine Nacht und waren morgens mit die ersten am Leuchtturm, bevor die Massen kamen. Traumhafter Sonnenaufgang und -untergang.

Aparcamiento número 2 (!) directamente en Cabo Reinga. Para llegar a él, hay que rodear el aparcamiento 1 (aquí está prohibido acampar) y retroceder 50 metros por la carretera, girar a la derecha detrás de la rotonda. Sin señales de prohibición. Lugar súper tranquilo, nos quedamos aquí solos. Punto de partida perfecto para la corta caminata hasta el faro. Los baños públicos están en P1 pero están cerrados por la noche. Nos quedamos una noche y estuvimos entre los primeros en llegar al faro por la mañana antes de que llegaran las multitudes. Fantástico amanecer y atardecer.
